The surrounding environment is very quiet, and there are bonfires and barbecue facilities in the public area.
The heating in the room is great, there is a fireplace and a microwave oven, and the environment inside the wooden house is rather cozy

Fortunately, the hotel does not have an elevator. Although there are only two floors, the suitcase is too heavy and you have to carry it upstairs by yourself. This is inconvenient. The hotel is only a few minutes drive from the town, but the price is quite expensive. If you are in a small town It is not easy to park, after all, this hotel has free parking

Excellent location, hotel, and service. There was no a/c, fridge, microwave, or iron in the room. Also, don't forget to bring your mosquito repellent as there are a lot of mosquitos in the area. The restaurant was just OK. We gas our paid breakfast and the tea and coffee were cold. Also, its price wasn't mentioned in the menu.

The hotel is at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, with nice views, but it is still a certain distance from the town of Banff. The suite I was assigned to was located in Building 15, with convenient parking, but it was too close to the road and very noisy at night. The hotel has a hot spring and a swimming pool, but it is relatively old, completely self-service, and has no security guards. The room I was assigned to was not convenient to the restaurant area, as I had to cross a large road. The room was also relatively small and the soundproofing was not good.

Stay at Rimrock Resort was wonderful right from checkin to checkout. The ladies at checkin were very friendly and professional. They provided us with a free upgrade to the mountain view room on 9th floor. The room had wonderful views and made our stay memorable. We tried buffet breakfast as Primrose and really loved their smoothies. Service was great too. Unfortunately couldn't use pool and hot tub since they were closed on the day of our stay . I wish we could have stayed few more days at Rimrock

The room was clean, but the building, furniture, carpet, curtains, and everything else in the room was out dated. Overall, it was a good experience. Lake louise is at 10 min drive.

I've visited this hotel a few times throughout the years and although the hotel looks a bit tired outside I was pleasantly surprised on the many improvements starting with a nice breakfast to start the day, nice modern rooms and showers (mine was on the main building), comfy bed. Hotel also they provide a few items in the room (hand warmers, trail mix snack, coco, coffee, etc.)
Staff was attentive and professional.
This hotel is in a good spot if you're planning to hit the ski hill, lake Louise, or the multiple trails in the area.

A spectacular hotel…very impressed by its updates. We were told there was no lakeview room. However, when we opened the room door, wow! Beautiful lake view…surprised! Great view of sunrise…feel privileged as the hotel guests. In addition, hotel sells tickets to Moraine Lake that is hard to get to. Although we spent almost $1000 for a night, it is worth it. It was a very enjoyable stay!
