Very cozy and friendly hotel atmosphere..Service was professional, friendly and caring for all our needs. Travelled wih my husband on vacation. Room was cleanned everyday, room service was attentive to our requests, only the cleanliness of bathroom lacked attention. Air conditioning, being a beach front summer hotel, worked perfectly. Some of the employees went above and beyond their duties to help our staying feel like home. Mauricio at the poolbar and Gabriel - great friendly delicious tropical cocktails served. Carlos Jose at the main Hotel Restaurant did a fantastic job with a smile always. Barbara at the restaurante was exceptional. The receptionists always had a genuine friendliness way to make us happy to be back with a smile and what can we do for your staying be perfect? Trully we enjoyed once again be the guest at the facility. Will be back!
The hotel has a beach outlet, is very wide, with beautiful spaces, such as the pad and the gardens. The environment is wonderful, from the pool you see the blue sea (a little brave sea!!). The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable. The room is quite simple and it would be good to re-model it, but the truth that you spend a little time in the room and that was not important for us. The attention is good and the capirinha excellent!! We would certainly return.
the hotel is very well located in safe area of salvador, 15 minutes driving to the airport, the room is very large, no coffee/ tea set in the room (probably this is the standard of brazil), the safe in the room didn't work and the receptionist had no answer for that, the staff doesn't speak english, breakfast is fairly good.

This hotel is located in the upscale neighborhood of Pituba in Salvador. It sits 1 block from the seashore, where you can run, bike ride or walk along the paths, or stop in to some of the bars that are found there. It is located near many restaurants as well. The hotel offers free parking, free wi-fi and breakfast (which was very good) is included. All of the hotel employees are very friendly and helpful. Our room (504) had a view of the ocean, which was a plus. The blackout curtains work well, so the sun never woke me in the morning. The bed was OK, but the pillows could be more comfortable. Hot water worked fine as did the air conditioning. While we were here, there was a doctors' conference in the hotel, & it seemed the hotel's 110 rooms were all booked, but this extra traffic did not affect the quality of the service provided at all. Overall, this hotel offers great value for the money, and if I had to stay in this neighborhood, I'd definitely consider staying here again.
All perfect. Note 9.5. If you want to be note 10 you need to have a better blackout in the rooms because the balcony is super clear when the sun is born.
We had only one problem with the lock, because the card failed to open about three times and we had to return to the gateway.

GGuest UserThe Novotel Salvador Hangar Aeroporto best features are its location near the airport, newer facilities than most properties in Salvador, and it operates under the ACCOR hotel brand. Despite these advantages, I must report a unacceptable experience during my stay December 28th to 31st 2022 followed by deplorable managerial customer service in response to verified and documented service failures. I have reported these issues to my travel agency, my corporate travel unit, and my personal travel networks. As I discovered this property using Trip Advisor, I have decided to report this matter for the benefit of my fellow readers. I do not recommend this property for business travelers nor cultural tourism travelers (especially not those seeking afro-Brazilian tourism or those welcoming to the African diaspora). I share some reasons herein: • Unreliable Service: During my stay I experienced one major internet outage over six business hours, as well as minor room outages (less than 30 minutes) on each day of my stay. This hotel was advertised as catering to business travelers, but the hotel provided no updates when internet would be restored despite repeated requests. I did not receive any support to manage the disruption to my teleworking, and personnel were unable/unwilling to facilitate solutions (At one point, I was recommended to use the free internet of one of the shopping malls. Imagine carrying expensive computer equipment to what my taxi driver warned was a “high crime” area). Sadly, the ability of the reception staff to identify solutions was more unreliable than the internet service. • Poor Room Quality: This hotel advertises rooms of high standards of quality, and I am sure many receive good rooms. However, I received a room that was both substandard quality (bathroom sidings and interior furniture water damaged, door malfunction, refrigerator malfunction) and pollutted by the buildings HVAC exhaust being poorly designed, allowing exhaust to flow against rooms on the lower floor (high noise pollution noticeable when sleeping). I believe most guests do not have this experience, as the issue likely affects few rooms on the lower floors. However, when choosing this property, one must ask the question, how does the receptionist decide who receives these rooms which experience high dust inflow and high noise pollution (I have videos and photos available upon request). Why are some customers placed in quality rooms, and others assigned to substandard rooms (noting the hotel has standard room types based on bed requirements)? Why did this hotel property assume that one of their few afro-descendent customers would accept the worst room in the property? • Deplorable Managerial Level Customer Service: Upon checkout, a customer service representative noted my dissatisfaction with my hotel experience, and asked if I would be willing to receive inquires from hotel management the next business day. I did not have confidence in their customer service bu
AAlle_KayFantastic stay! The hotel is beautiful. It is right on the top of the hill of Rio Vermelho and it offers a free service from the hotel to the main street and the other way around. When we arrived we found very nice receptionists. We were initially given an accessible room, we requested to change it as we were there to celebrate our honeymoon. One evening the hotel staff treated us with strawberries, chocolate and 2 brigadeiros <3 The room was very nice and clean, with all the comforts. The breakfast, unfortunately, wasn't very good. The quality was poor. The positive thing is that we could order omelettes and tapiocas cooked at the moment. All the staff very nice and friendly. Definitely recommended! :)
This hotel can be considered well located if you are traveling by car or if you have no problem taking a taxi, uber or similar, all of this because, although the neighborhood is good, it does not offer any of the attractions of Salvador by foot. Aware of that, you can come, but pay attention, don't expect too much, the accommodation is good but old, the lobby is large but dark, the breakfast is relatively full of food but always crowded and in order to get one ”tapioca” or an omelette this will require some of your patience in the row. I tried to go to the gym but even during the pandemic it was full of people, maybe because of the location next to the pool or even because of the usual number of guests at the end of the year. Even so, we were well taken care of during the period we stayed at the Bahia hotel and I would return without any major problems.
GGuest UserPros:
* spacious clean room
* good breakfast opening at 6:30am sharp (doors are locked before then), with lactose-free milk and gluten-free options
* okay pool area (no greenery though)
Cons:
* the A/C was weak, but after running it for one day the room was sufficiently cool (you do need a card in the slot during that day...)
* no ”Do not disturb” sign to hang onto the doorknob
* the desk in the room was small and very annoying for laptop work (round, glass)
* the chairs in the room were not comfortable at all
* out of all the staff, only one front desk person spoke English
* no laundry facilities
* no business room
* old slow elevator
* window didn't insulate from the street noise that well, but I used 33 dB NRR earplugs to block the noise that came through; there are also many rooms that don't face the street
* the front gate didn't open automatically with my key; had to wait for staff to open it; other times it was left open
RRuslanOutstanding service by the people who’s working here. They’re made sure I’m aware and familiar with everything at the hotel and showed real care about my well-being. Hotel location just across the beach and even some people saying it’s not good beach I’ve have a good time. There is everything you need around the hotel, supermarkets, small shops, pharmacies etc. Uber easy take you to main tourist attraction within 20 min ride and it’s cheap. Breakfast is like in most hotels whoever very good quality and presentation. Really happy with stay. Highly recommended.
GGuest UserThe Aquarena Hotel is a well-being hotel in a well-being area, it is in front of a street and so the noise of cars may be uncomfortable. check in was delayed and confused, had already paid 50% and yet I was charged again, the proof must be sent back to healing that pend which should be in a hotel system. In addition, some rooms have no fridge, but the hotel sells water and refrigerator at the reception, the detail is for payment, it must be immediately not possible to place on the room account, or you have to pay immediately or not take it. The hotel is easy to reach, it is close to the New Source, the GPS has no problem to find. The room is very small, the bathroom idem, a bigger person would pass quite tight. The breakfast is very modest, the strong point is on the hand of the time-made tapioca. In addition, the hotel has a good cost benefit but is not one of the best.
JJONO5K1For the price paid, the value is exceptional. The location is safe, 5 metres from the beach (about as close as a hotel can get) and a few minutes walk from supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities. The breakfast as is always the case with Rede Andrade hotels is varied and sizable. This hotel branch is much nicer than two others I stayed at in Salvador with a comfortable lobby area and outside seating courtyard. Though my room was misrepresented as ”an apartment” when it is a normal room, I was fine with it given the low price paid. I had a sea view and the room contained the necessary features, i.e. fridge, TV, hot shower, ac, and towels/soaps. The WiFi was terrible though with no signal at all in the room. Aside from the latter, everything was great as were the staff. Would recommend 100%
GGuest UserThe hotel needs urgently a retirement, the room in which I stayed had a moof and the bathroom too. The lifts also need a reform. Breakfast needs improvements, needs to be more diversified. The bed linen and towels need to be exchanged, they were very wearing.
GGuest UserThis hotel is simple but it has everything you need. The pool is great and the internet connection by the pool works better than the rooms. It is located near restaurants, bars, groceries stores, and pharmacies. Breakfast could improve. I wish they had more local tropical fruits. However, breakfast is simple but well served. Located just steps from the beach, which is calm and not lots of waves. Good for kids.
