While its location is centric, the overall look of it is not the greatest! Outdated basic rooms for a night maybe 2. Breakfast menu is very limited and many of the items do not looked fresh at all! Nearby streets looked quite scary, specially at night, there is sense of not being secure... just my impression as if someone is going to jump out of nowhere... I had a 2 night stay before going to Uyuni and at the end of it, when checking out, the front desk staff was asking in an accusatory tone if I had eaten something from the minibar, which I hadn’t, but they insisted as if I was not telling the truth, the the front desk person went about the amount of towels and the it was “very strange” they left only one when it should have been 3! Once again this was done in a accusatory tone that made me think on offering to open my bags so they could check in wasn’t stealing them! Although I had a reservation for an additional 2 nights, upon returning from Uyuni, I decided to cancel, even losing money from doing it and find a “better” accommodation! I just didn’t feel comfortable being accused like that and no one to rely on for support! Bad experience overall!

The service is attentive, hospitable, the location is excellent, the cable car is very convenient, the breakfast is rich, breakfast starts at 4 in the morning, very considerate to those who catch the early flight. Will choose this hotel next time.

This is a funky hotel well located amid the main tourist attractions of La Paz, with easy walks to the witches market, the nearest cable car station, the main square, San Francisco Plaza, Jaen Street with its museums, etc. The breakfast was good, with your choice of a hot egg dish plus fresh fruit and various breads. Our only complaint was our room was an interior room, looking out onto the hallway and lacked fresh air. but this was minor, unavoidable given the design, and not all rooms had this problem.

Five-star recommended hotel. Newly renovated, the bedding is very comfortable.
I had high reflexes as soon as I landed at the airport. I took oxygen at the airport. The staff who picked me up at the hotel waited for me for a long time. They helped me carry my backpack and buy anti-high reflex medicine from the drug store. On the way back to the hotel, they looked back from time to time to check on my condition. When I arrived at the hotel early, they helped me check in for free and provided me with oxygen for free. When I tried to withdraw cash from a nearby ATM, my bank card was swallowed. When I went to the bank to withdraw cash the next day, the front desk kindly printed a small note explaining the situation in Spanish for me. She was so considerate.

It is speculated that the hotel was opened by the boss in China. The daily necessities in the room are very suitable for the Chinese. There is a hot water bottle, disposable slippers, breakfast is equipped with sweet potato porridge, tomato egg noodles, and mustard butterfly. Can you not love it? Hahaha, I have been missing for more than a month after leaving home.

The location of the hotel is secluded, very far away from the yellow line non-stop station, but the airport is close to the airport for 70 yuan. The rooms are spacious and simple, lined with wooden floors and the furniture has an overall retro taste. Beautifully displayed towels are acceptable. The toilet in some rooms smells, so be careful when you check in. The breakfast can provide us with a rich breakfast earlier than 3 o'clock upon request of the guests or can provide a light take-out lunch. The staff at the reception are fluent in English, and the service is also very good and caring. Arranging taxi transfers to and from the airport and explaining the discounts on local attractions and cable car rides for us are the most commendable, and the overall meets expectations and recommends staying.

Casa fusion boutique hotel really felt like a home away from home in the bustling city of La Paz. Situated next to the cable car station in Sopocachi, it was very easy to go around by cable car and reach all the interesting points in town in a flight or two. The owners are the kindest people, who helped us get our bearings and recommending some great museums, restaurants and local markets to explore. The breakfast is lovely with really good Bolivian coffee and home made bread and croissants from the bakery that they run next door. The hotel is like a large house with its hardwood floors and beautiful art on the wall, coca tea to help yourself and cosy spots to hang out. The staff is helpful and kind, housekeeping excellent and we loved strolling the neighborhood which feels very safe. Definitely would return next time in La Paz!

PParadise34327468256The Atix Hotel is deep in the bowl that La Paz sits in, meaning it is lower than most parts of La Paz. It is in a lolvely neighbourhood with embassies and a nice plaza a short walk away with restaurants, cafes and shops. The hotel is modern and stylish with local Bolivian touches. The staff are friendly and professional. On the top floor there is a bar as well as a good size swimming pool with amazing views over La Paz, particularly around sunset. The rooms are a good size, well-equipped with sufficient plugs to charge equipment, including USB points. The air-conditioning is quiet The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is modern with a shower over the bath with a glass screen. There was a good range of food to choose from for breakfast. There is a cable car station (Irpavi) on the Green Line.a short walk away from the hotel. It is a short ride to get to the centre of the city. The time to get to the airport from the hotel will vary dramatically depending on the time of day. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel for either a business or leisure stay.

From the time we arrived, to the time we left, we all felt very welcome and comfortable at this fine hotel. We came back three times, between our travels to Tupiza and Coroico, and were allowed to leave our leftover luggage in their storage. The rooms are great. We had a two bedroom apartment for 4 people. With a lounge area and a small kitchenette. The bathroom is modern and functional. Nice hot showers any time of the day. Cleaning was spotless. Matresses and pillows were the most comfortable on our entire journey around Bolivia. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. The gym was also great - in the nearby mall. Perhaps the only thing missing, is a roof terrace or a small garden, where you can sit outside and enjoy the sun. The most important thing, were the people in the reception, restaurant and office. They were all very serviceminded and helpful in any way we required. So all in all a 5-star experience and definitely recommendable. We would come back any time.

CChai29Spent 2 nights here travelling from Peru to La Paz. The location is perfect for Peru/Bolivia Hop travellers as it’s their pick up point. It’s next to Witches Market and 10 minutes walk to San Francisco Church. The room is quite spacious and the bathroom is relatively new. Breakfast included was just ok. Would be good if there was a toaster for the bread. At the guests lobby area, there’s free coca tea and kettle self service which was nice if you have altitude sickness in the highest city in the world. We had a city view which was beautiful at night. Our room 510 was quiet so we had a good rest travelling from Peru.

GGuest UserReally very helpful staff who communicated well in English. The location is great and the rooms are beyond expectations given the modest price charged by the hotel. The breakfast was adequate rather than expansive. This suited me because I went on tours and hardly had time to have a huge breakfast.
Definitely a hotel that serves your needs as a traveler without a hefty price tag. The central location was convenient and allowed your groups to pick up for excursions

DDayTrip10100154817The pictures were a little off from the room we got, but overall we had a nice stay here. We got in around 4:30am, but check in was quick and easy. We weren't bothered by noise at all as some of the other reviews have stated, although we were on the 4th floor so maybe that made a difference. No heat or cooling that we could find, but with the window open we didn't really need it. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. Food in the restaurant was actually really good. Overall, I'd stay here again as it was perfectly adequate, especially given the great location and reasonable price.

We stayed several nights at the Golden Palace and found it to be comfortable, clean and secure. Family-owned and run, Eric and his wife at the front desk, made up for any shortfalls! They were so warm and friendly, they were happy to help to make sure we had a great visit. They gave us a new room away from the street noise, they got us a heater for the room when the temperature dropped and they helped us find winter coats, banks and directions to vegetarian restaurants without getting ripped off. They made LaPaz easy and manageable!!! Thank You Golden Palace!!

The staffs was incredibly friendly and responsive, providing helpful local tips. The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and convenient stay!
