very upset that my food took way too long to be made. ordered a pasta dish with specific pasta request, at almost thirty minutes of waiting, then the waiter came out telling me they ran out of the pasta i requested. and i waited AGAIN, my food was the last to arrive. very upset. how could the kitchen team hasn’t noticed right away that they ran out of ingredients the second service team told them the orders? furthermore, i didn’t receive any apology concerning about my food. i was told that it was coming in “5/10 minutes”, but nope. didnt arrive as promised. first & last experience at this restaurant. not coming back. imagine, me and my friends were the only customers at the time. how will it be like with several tables? nightmare

Star Lodge Hotel is one of the best choice of hotels accomodation located in a strategic location in Jerudong,Brunei. Its our first experience staying overnite at an affordable rate & served by excellent & lovely room decorations by the staff. Its my surprising gifts for my family on their birthdays ; Wife & 3 kids. We had a small family gathering & Doa kesyukururan at the Star Lodge Restaurant hall with excellent taste of food, served by nice & friendly staff & good entertainment facilities. The hotel is provided with enclosed swimming pool that suits multiple age of people to relax. The cleanliness is very good & the wifi connection is excellent. The environment includes lift facilities that has the musics entertainment making the surroundings fell comfort & friendly. I saw many clients stayed in the hotel noticing all car parks were full during the nite. I loved staying there & plan to have another function in the near future. Thank you for all the services provided especially to Ahmad Azim & friend, Star Lodge staffs who provide me all his best service though he was on leave. Thank You

We stayed at The Empire overnight in transit to Australia. The buildings alone are incredibly impressive as are the grounds, facilities ( restaurants, cinema, 24 hour cafe) and the amazing pool. The staff are super friendly, efficient and keen to help in any way. Our room was spacious with a great ocean view and the bed was wonderful. We used bikes to explore the property, visited the in house cinema and spent a lazy afternoon by the pool using the kayaks and SUP boards. The grounds are streaming with bird life. We saw sea eagles, kingfishers, parrots and more. We ate in the Pantai restaurant which offered good food at reasonable prices. The downside for us was the buffet breakfast which had a wide selection of food but some of the offerings such as roti, dim sum and curries were already cold and unappetising by 8.00am. Breakfast and airport transit are not included in the room rate so these extras add up making this an expensive option. There are many private beaches on the property but we were told swimming is at your own risk due to the small risk of crocodiles. Overall it was a real experience to stay here!

У нас не было выбора, потому что в связи с каникулами все другие отели были забиты. Хочу сразу сказать, что персонал очень старался, но из этого барака нельзя выжать больше, чем есть. Номера очень маленькие, я смотрел даже люксы, но и там места немного. Пришлось согласиться с двумя соединяющимися комнатами. Лифта нет, есть шикарная лестница, словно принесенная из отеля получше. В коридорах жара, потому что кондиционеры выключены в целях экономии. В комнатах кондиционеры пришлось гонять весь день, чтобы они хоть как-то охладили воздух, еле живые. Но это еще ерунда. Самое ужасное - это кровати! Они настолько твердые, как если бы вы лежали просто на фанере. Жена хотела сбежать обратно домой уже после первой же ночи в отеле, но я уговорил ее поменяться кроватями, что, впрочем, мало помогло. В санузле одной комнаты не было горячей воды, а во второй лейка душа была повреждена и брызгала во все стороны. Сотрудник отеля позвонил ночью и предупредил, что мы забыли выключить свет в машине, я вышел и выключил, спасибо ему, иначе бы утром не завел. Парковка была все время забита, и менеджер отеля поставил нашу машину на ВИП место прямо перед входом. Повторюсь - персонал великолепный, добрые и отзывчивые люди, но сам отель очень устал. Найдите другое место, если возможно, за эту цену обычно большой выбор.

Stayed for 1 night in early May 2019. Overall just an Ok hotel but you are getting what you paid for. Unfortunately during my stay the hotel's wifi wasn't working and it made it a horrible experience as I was on a business trip. Imagine being on a business trip overseas with no interest. Subsequently I had to use my phones 4G that costed me so much that I could have stayed in a better hotel for that money. Cleanliness is ok but since the building is too old so you that ”moldy smell”. They extended my checknout time till 4 as I had a late evening flight and it was the biggest plus with the hotel. I .right stay again until I find another hotel with similar rates and better services

we checked in during mid of Feb-21. it seems nice hotel to stay when we look through the website. we've never got a chance to stay here since it's always fully booked. luckily, we managed to get an apartment and a family suite for our stay. it was our first time to stay there, we were surprised that the hotel services were not up to standard. such a disappointment when you see there is no proper service provided by the front desk and the concierge was not very helpful. the front desk didn't finish her checked in process with guests infront of her and she kept asking if her colleague can manage the other check-ins. ??? not to mention that they have no proper guidance to our stay. to cut short, when we checked-in to the apartment, it was a bit smelly. there are no kitchen utensils for cooking, there is no bath robe, no bath tub as mentioned in the website. moreover, the door toilet in the main room couldn't be close properly. it was stuck! not to mention, the wifi was very poor and we can't even use the ”wireless cord telephone motorolla” that was provided in the room. we have to call the front-desk using our own phone and dialed the hotel number. what's the use of the phone if they can't be use, right?? we requested to move to another room, but they said it was fully booked. what surprised me, the room next door is available. we did not have a choice but to stay. luckily when we visited the other room, it has such a nice view facing the roundabout. but again, what disappoints us was that there is no wifi in that room. i would suggest for the hotel management to improve on certain areas in this hotel. please look through this.

The facilities are old, but overall clean. It faces the street, the glass is colorful, and it looks very old. The corridors inside the hotel are not soundproof, but the price/performance ratio is good. Next to the hotel is Wu Zun's roti culture

Great location with many shopping and eating places within walking distance. Decent selection of local food at the buffet breakfast. Rooms were spacious and clean. Our family of 5 was fortunate to have a complimentary upgrade of one of our rooms to a suite in order to have interconnecting rooms. However, condition of the rooms were quite aged and the aircon temperature cannot be adjusted which made it very cold most of the time. In-room Wi-Fi definitely needs improvement as you have to pull a chair and sit near the room door for a decent signal strength. Overall still a reasonable place to stay.

Good location with the biggest mall connected. Room is big with Brunei traditional style decor. The only thing I would complain is the network is not fast enough that I had to buy some mobile date to be able to work online.

The location is very good in the city center, it is very convenient to nearby attractions, the environment is OK, there are office and charging places in the public area, air conditioning, and the price is relatively cheap.
