The only reason it deserves a star is because the staff was helpful when you asked them something and the rooms are incredibly spacious, other than that, avoid at all cost. Broken aircon, broken tiles in the bathroom that stick to your feet, horrible beds, only 2 small lights in the whole room worked, I could see the sewage from the toilet above me, ... On top of that, it's location moght appear safe at first being right next to the police station, but they deal ***** right in front of it. It's a smelly neighborhood, I've seen someone sh*t against a wall 50m from the hotel, ... Brussels is a horrible place to begin with but this made my opinion even worse. The rooms where adequately cleaned, but the staff can only do ao much with a completely worn out place. The 'hair dryer' they advertise with is a hand dryer as seen in public toilets, nothing useable. My colleague couldn't even get in his toilet at first as the lock was broken. Another weird things was that on the 3rd day, I suddenly had a 3rd bed in my room, most likely preparation for the next week, but a very odd feeling to experience, as if they invaded my privacy. Should've taken pictures, but only have 2 videos I sent to the office.

We booked several rooms for a group and in general the hotel and the rooms looked amazing but sadly that was just the looks. The beds are way too soft, the lights are not working properly: you cannot turn on the lights in the bathroom if the lights in the room are not on. Plus the lights turn on and off whenever they like and without any reason. Sometimes you cannot just turn them on. The water is also like this: you either shower with boiling water or ice cold water, there is nothing in between. I would definitely not recommend this hotel and probably the three stars are like two…

I spent a couple of nights in this hotel and to my surprise the atmosphere matches the (visual) story the website tells. It's a relief compared to many other hotels I've stayed in. It's almost as if you're in some classy exotic holiday hotel. The Botanic gardens right outside the hotel make up for the lack of atmosphere of the area... although the location very near the North train station is very convenient. The informally clothed staff are young, very friendly and energetic. The bar at the top floor of the hotel is a nice surprise! One of the Barista guys went out of his way to tell me about many details of the hotel and its philosophy, gave tips of where to go and what to see... all the while busy preparing mean coffees. (Scruffy beard, earring... Petey?) If you need to stay in Brussels for business (or pleasure of course) I can only imagine it must be a relief that some hotel chains do understand how to make you feel at home. (I'm regretting now not stealing the nice mug from the room!)

I had absolutely no real issues with this hotel whatsoever. It didn’t really set my heart alight but considering the excellent price, the proximity to the city centre, the excellent transport links and the overall cleanliness (including sweet scented foyer!), I would rate it more than average. I mean, I booked this just a week in advance and by no means felt shortchanged for my three-night stay. It really was great value for money next to similar hotels nearer the centre. Thank you.

This hotel really does deserve a review. I travelled solo to Brussels for a weekend and was looking locally and finding hotels were really costly. I did some research and come across this hotel and was really impressed. The location is great, it’s right by Starbucks and Rogier Metro. Also it’s by the main high street full of zara, hnm and other stores which leads the the grand place and other tourist areas The hotel staff were friendly, polite and willing to help. It was clean and large with lots of space and tables. If you’re looking for a basic budget friendly hotel this is it. It’s inline with premier inn, ibis etc. It’s literally opposite the indigo and Hilton which was a lot higher in price. The room itself was a large and it was a big bed with fresh sheets. They had a large bathroom and provided you with soap, cotton buds and shower cap and fresh towels daily. Also a coffee machine with coffee, tea, sugar and I thought this was an extra touch not expected. Huge desk space if you’re there for work and it had abit go an Art Deco feel which I liked. There was a few things like marks on the wall and few stains on the carpet but not to the point it ruined the room or really was even that noticeable. It was also safe and the only way in and out was with a keycard. Staff were friendly as well, couldn’t fault them

GGuest UserOverall, it's good. The room is relatively large and the facilities are good. However, the decoration of the hotel is a bit noisy. Another drawback is that the door of the shower room is not fully closed. Water comes out when taking a shower. There are also shower gel bottles for the two rooms we booked. The head that you press down is all broken. The hotel should check the facilities regularly.

GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed here while touring around several different countries. This was one of our favorite hotels we stayed at. The location is great, within walking distance of a lot of shops and dining downtown. We walked to see the guild houses and the Mont Des Arts. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. There is a paid parking garage nearby we were able to park at. The only thing I do want to mention is the rooms are very small, at least the standard room we had was. We were on our trip for nearly three weeks so we had fairly large luggages that we had trouble fitting into the room / around the bed. Other than that though, everything was great.

GGuest UserI spent a couple of nights in this hotel and to my surprise the atmosphere matches the (visual) story the website tells. It's a relief compared to many other hotels I've stayed in. It's almost as if you're in some classy exotic holiday hotel. The Botanic gardens right outside the hotel make up for the lack of atmosphere of the area... although the location very near the North train station is very convenient. The informally clothed staff are young, very friendly and energetic. The bar at the top floor of the hotel is a nice surprise! One of the Barista guys went out of his way to tell me about many details of the hotel and its philosophy, gave tips of where to go and what to see... all the while busy preparing mean coffees. (Scruffy beard, earring... Petey?) If you need to stay in Brussels for business (or pleasure of course) I can only imagine it must be a relief that some hotel chains do understand how to make you feel at home. (I'm regretting now not stealing the nice mug from the room!)

GGuest UserJust come home from a short two night stay at the hotel and everything was positive. Reception was down a few steps but there's a lift down for anyone who struggles with step. Check in was smooth and took less than 2 minutes . The room was very nice two single beds spaced quite close but if you are staying with friends or family this isn't an issue. Bathroom was clean and large with a bath and shower shower gel and shampoo was supplied attached to the wall in the shower. Free water daily stocked into the room fridge and also free coffee for the coffee machine. The later check out of 12 was a bonus and the hotel are happy to store luggage should you be on an evening flight. The hotel has a nice bar and all staff are friendly . The only issue would be because its such a large hotel the lifts are always busy we had to walk down the stairs from the 10th floor a few times which is a lot of steps so anyone on a higher floor just be warned if you aren't too good at walking. The area around the hotel is pretty nice a bit like a business district but venture a few streets behind and it gets a bit grim and becomes a bit more shady just a warning to have your wits about you if going that way .

GGuest UserMy partner and I have just come back after a new year break in Brussels. After reading the reviews we were a bit sceptical about the hotel but we had a really pleasant stay. The hotel is fine for what we needed it for-mainly to sleep after a long day exploring Brussels. The rooms were basic-yes, but clean and comfortable. The location is great, around a 15minute walk into the main square and a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station which we used to access the atomium. We didn't find the area to be uncomfortable, even when walking home on New Year's Eve at 1am. We booked as part of a Eurostar package and for the price we paid we were very happy. You get what you pay for! Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't book as part of our package-there are lots of places in the centre to eat.

GGuest UserThis hotel really does deserve a review. I travelled solo to Brussels for a weekend and was looking locally and finding hotels were really costly. I did some research and come across this hotel and was really impressed. The location is great, it’s right by Starbucks and Rogier Metro. Also it’s by the main high street full of zara, hnm and other stores which leads the the grand place and other tourist areas The hotel staff were friendly, polite and willing to help. It was clean and large with lots of space and tables. If you’re looking for a basic budget friendly hotel this is it. It’s inline with premier inn, ibis etc. It’s literally opposite the indigo and Hilton which was a lot higher in price. The room itself was a large and it was a big bed with fresh sheets. They had a large bathroom and provided you with soap, cotton buds and shower cap and fresh towels daily. Also a coffee machine with coffee, tea, sugar and I thought this was an extra touch not expected. Huge desk space if you’re there for work and it had abit go an Art Deco feel which I liked. There was a few things like marks on the wall and few stains on the carpet but not to the point it ruined the room or really was even that noticeable. It was also safe and the only way in and out was with a keycard. Staff were friendly as well, couldn’t fault them

GGuest UserThe hotel Siru is particularly good for those who are required to be in the offices around the North Station or who wish to explore Brussels. The access door is defect and therefore you need to enter the hotel next door. The people at the reception are friendly and helpful. The room is OK, small and just, but also with a proper bed, desk, stop contacts and USB gates for example to load a phone, large box. The darkness cord is just too small, which makes you not able to dark the room. The door has dirty lining traces and a evacuation plan is missing. The room has coffee and water. The bathroom with toilet, lavabo and shower is also small. There are towels, soaps, etc. However, the shower is hardly going through and is packed with smooth tiles with polluted fittings (i.e. fungi), and the toilet is hardly swallowing through. Unfortunately, there is a lot of noise at night: street noise from the square, but also a lot of disturbing sounds from the top bathrooms and showers. I suspect that there are also a lot of people who have to stay at the airport because from 4.30 you hear people leave the room and the corridor.... Often with stinging doors. The breakfast is OK: good coffee (but only one machine...) and fruit juice, enough choice of bread and coating, cheese, sauces, cheese, charcuterie and even fruitsla. The hotel is not clean enough, so you often have to sit on a table where the stitches, dirty cups and the cover of old guests were left. I cannot recommend this hotel. The number of negative points is too high. And so, the price and quality of the offers are not in balance, and I will not come back here.

GGuest UserI had absolutely no real issues with this hotel whatsoever. It didn’t really set my heart alight but considering the excellent price, the proximity to the city centre, the excellent transport links and the overall cleanliness (including sweet scented foyer!), I would rate it more than average. I mean, I booked this just a week in advance and by no means felt shortchanged for my three-night stay. It really was great value for money next to similar hotels nearer the centre. Thank you.
