Easy to find in city centre, has parking next door. Reception lobby is more of a bar/restaurant - definitely unusual, but we had no problems checking in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable with some nice design touches. Wifi worked well. Only -ve was aircon is behind curtain so didn't work well at night, but will only matter on hottest days. Breakfast was good, although we ate out in the evening as we felt we ought to see the evening life on the streets of Liege. Traffic is currently tricky because of tram line construction, but will be great once that is finished. DOn't let it put you off.
Very nice hotel 🏨, the room is equipped with a hot water bottle, which is much more convenient for people who can't drink cold water.
The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the shopping place and it is convenient to eat.
We had booked a suite to see what the best possible experience in YUST could be. We were lucky to do so. The room had a quite luxurious feel to it, with some cosy elements like the curtains around the bed, that in combination with the turning TV could make the bed feel like a private cinema! The cleaning was oke and all necessary kitchen tools were available. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the rooftop, and the city construction works around the building make the parking a bit difficult to find. All taken into considerations, I would recommend!

Bien cordialement. Philippe.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean and the jacuzzi and the shower in Italian are very good. The hotel is perfect, a smile and sympathetic reception, a bottle of champagne at the arrival and the next morning breakfast served in front of the door. We spent a great night, I recommend this romantic hotel.

We reserved a standard room with breakfast and boy did we like. The room was very spacious and we got access to the spa. The Breakfast is fresh. A lot of variety and we loved every minute of it. A must stay. The spa was nit the biggest but fun when you want to relax after a day of shopping. Spa is open from 8 am till 10 pm. Bath robes and slippers are provided in the room. The hotel is situated 10 min walk from the old town.
BBrianHotel de la Couronne Liege is right in front of Gare de Liege Guillemins and just next to the Flixbus stop, so if you're just dropping by Liege, the location is perfect. There's a Carrefour Express next door and a Burger King. Gare de Liege Guillemins and the hotel are somewhat far from the museums and historical locations but the city area/Liege is so small and navigable that it's not a big deal. Couronne hotel is one of those rare European boutique hotels that still maintain comfortably sized rooms. Rooms at this price range are often quite small (even in newer European and Asian 3-star hotels) so that's a plus. Couronne is no frills (no coffee, tea, minibar, etc) but the beds and bath are clean and comfortable. Plus, there's a nice airy salon on the first floor where those staying at the hotel can sit and lounge around. There are plenty of fry-ups, a great Japanese restaurant (Nagoya), and an Aldi close by. I had a bad allergy on my second night and the staff at 1 am were helpful despite my limited French. I'm not the best at picking hotels, but Hotel de la Couronne was a good choice for my two nights.
The hotel is very quiet, good position. In view of the previous comment I'm glad we refused the room behind the llft & went instead to 306 at the end of the corridor. The staff are friendly & helpful & breakfast is fresh & varied. But the room ! Clearly the designer has never spent a night in it. Drab colours, black furniture & a dog's-mess-brown sash across the beds. The open bathroom may not be to everyone's taste ( it wasn't to ours ). The reading lights are recessed over a wide wooden ledge & just not strong enough to read in bed. The light switches are difficult to get at under the ledge. For those who like to shave, illumination is only available on forehead & the tip of the nose : the rest is in shadow. Possibly the toughest challenge was blocking the water in the basin : there is no plug. Perhaps there is, in the elaborate high-tech tap fitment. If so, neither reception nor housekeeping, both appealed to, knew anything about it. Finally shoved a hand -towel into the plughole, just like the bad old days in Eastern Europe. Take your own
张张Breakfast for more than 100 RMB, we did not eat. Hotel room is very small, two double beds can only be together, Samsung LCD TV, fewer outlets, the bathroom is very good. The bedding is very good. Liege is a small city with a sparsely populated area and urban planning. This hotel is already very good in the local area, but it is not comparable to China.
WWEIVery good, suitable for traveling or office accommodation, the transportation is also very convenient, I drove there by myself, there are many places to eat around, and it is very convenient to find it, and it is ok next time.
GGuest UserWe stayed here in liege for the Belgian Grand Prix. I was away at the track most days and did not spend much time in the main hotel area except for breakfast and the occasional drink in the evening. The hotel was located in the outskirts of liege next to a major road about a 30 minute walk from the main train station or approximately at €10 taxi. being in room 33 which is the closest to the road I had no issues with getting to sleep. If your a light sleeper a pair of noise cancelling ear buds would be a good fix. The room was moderately sized and featured everything I would need. The only thing possibly missing was a mini fridge to keep things cool. The dining area was a little bland. They offered a buffet style European breakfast with fresh fruit, breads and yogurts. The bar was sp**** but for a small hotel it was more than enough. They offered a selection of Belgian beer on draft and bottle along with a standard spirit selection. The staff were friendly even if some had poor English. They were able to organise taxis to and from the hotel when I arrived and later when checking out.
We stayed here one night en route from Calais to Frankfurt am Main. The room was small and clean, the beds were comfortable and there is lots of parking. Breakfast was good for a budget hotel: fruit, yogurts, cereal, cheese, ham, toast, hard-boiled eggs, jams, good coffee. The receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful. There was also a bit of grass outside for our dog to run on, although it was rather muddy (not the hotel's fault) and could do with someone clearing up the litter around the edges (something the hotel could do). The locality is industrial but there is a massive indoor shopping centre (with cheap petrol) about 5 minutes walk away, and it is very close to the autoroute. We struggled to find somewhere to eat in the shopping centre (the 'Global' next to the hotel is an eat-all-you-can buffet joint which was not our thing) but did enjoy a simple meal in a resto there. Tip: watch out for the crazy drivers in the shopping centre car park: dangerous whether you are on foot or in a car. This hotel does what it says it does at a good price.
