We loved · This is a quiet and nice place in the centre of Gistoux. L'hôte propose un livret avec de nombreuses promenades ou randonnées cyclistes à réaliser à proximité. N'avez pas aimé · 😡L'obligation de payer en liquide alors que *********** déclare que l'établissement débitera le montant avant le séjour. 🪜The access to the rooms may prove difficult for people with reduced mobility. 🏖The host being on holiday was replaced by his son who was very helpful but: ▶️The host was impersonal by SMS. ▶️The door handset was detached and forced us to go out through the garden. ▶️The Wifi was just changed and the code reported in the room and the code on the door were obsolete, so no Wifi... the first night.
Well what can I say ?. Roland and Michelle are both great hosts and are very accommodating they go out of their way to ensure you get everything you need. They are polite and friendly also very knowledgeable. The Bed and Breakfast accommodation is second to none a really hidden Gem. Lots of thought and enthusiasm have gone into the architecture of the house and gardens. Upon arrival I thought my company had booked a hotel so I was a little surprised to see that I was booked in a bed and breakfast. However I am so glad that this want the case. The area itself is wonderful and very tranquil. I found myself sat of an evening over the road by the wonderful little chapel and just taking in the view of open fields along with the peacefulness after a hard days work. They don’t do evening meals but lay the table for me every evening just in case I brought food back with me. I loved the fact that I was offered this option along with some great advice and tips for getting meals around the area. I chose to get my own food each night and bring it back to a laid table and some excellent local beers that Roland supplied along with some history of its origins. I could go on and on about this little Gem of a bed and breakfast along with how much Roland and Michele made me welcome and comfortable. So my advice is go and look for yourselves YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. ps. I hope to be back there soon. Thanks so very much for all your help and hard work into ensuring me a great weeks Stay. Many thanks Dave Henstock Keysmart Locksmiths/ 247 national

Spend five nights here during a business trip, and it was very good. The rooms were clean and big; bed was nice and comfy. Wifi was good and stable. The staff did an excellent job of servicing and helping. The location is great for getting dinner, the in-hotel restaurant is also very good in my opinion. everything is within a short walk. The fitness facilities (had to pay a little extra) are good for getting in a workout after being in the office all day. Parking is fine, it is tight as all parking garages are. The entrance for parking is hard to find, look for a vertical sign saying Martins Agora.
Very beautiful hotel at u calm surrounding vegetable Grand parking Friendly home - fast checking by mail day J that facilitates the formalities spacious hall of reception with bar / resto - resto very good price of dishes between 20 and 25 euros Café and tea to disposition H24 in the hall Room in line with what is expected in a Ibis Littery very well Hotel very quiet no noise perfect for rest Buffet small dej classic but copious : eggs broken bacon sauces wine bread butter pancakes juice of fruit I've enjoyed the 5 days past down I'll return with pleasure when I'm back by Louvain
Extremely compact room but beds were OK. Very nice walk in shower. Buffet breakfast was vey good, available from 6am. Tea and coffee was available in restaurant from 4:30a am. Entrance to car park was poorly lit making coach parking very difficult.
The hotel itself is nice and is well furnished with good sized, comfortable rooms. We stayed for one night going down to Bavaria and again on the way home. Check in was easy and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is fresh, modern and ideal for an overnight stop over. There are shops and restaurants a short walk away if needed, as no evening meal/food was available. My room on the way out was comfortable and clean with great in room facilities including a lovely walk in shower and nice comfy beds. Both shower heads were in dire need of descaling and the rainfall shower sprayed every which way but down meaning I couldn’t use it. The air con was an added plus and soon cooled the room down. All 3 rooms I had were the same layout and had the walk in shower with Rituals soaps/shampoo provided. Worryingly, on inspection in the room for my return journey I found a dead adult bed bug on the grey pull out futon chair. I saw this as soon as I lifted the cushion and there was also a dirty tissue inside the cushion case. This suggests cleaning staff had not checked that area very thoroughly as it was easy to spot. The actual bed was clean with no signs of other bugs, but I was not taking the risk and was moved rooms immediately. I always inspect rooms thoroughly in any hotel before bringing my luggage in for this exact reason. The reception were most helpful and moved me to the other side of the hotel straight away, but it did cause me a lot of anxiety and I had a poor nights sleep as a result. No one wants to find that in their room!! The second room provided was clean with no issues identified other than the shower heads needing descaling. The breakfast offered was tasty with a good choice of food items and drinks. Porterage was included in our package but I took my own luggage up and down to the rooms. The rooms had a nice large tv and plenty of channels to choose from. The adjustable floor light was nice to leave on at night for a bit of light in the room. I would recommend the hotel and would be willing to stay there again. Hopefully they will start offering evening meals as this will be a huge plus for weary travellers who don’t want to walk down a main road to get to a restaurant.
Very poor service. I do not blame the only two staff on duty who were clearly stressed and under pressure trying to serve meals to a coach load if tourists booked to stay overnight. Informed the two of a food allergy that was totally ignored and the meal contains the peppers that was asked not to contain. I totally blame Best Western management for poor staffing and inadequate training of the staff. Had the allergy been a peanut allergy it could have been fatal. Come on best Western get your act together. We have used Best Western on many occasions such as Canada and many other counties. Best Western will be a chain of hotels we will ensure to avoid in future holidays. A total failure of Best Western standards and very poor management.
well located for either the motorway or train station hotel was quiet in the evening room was excellent large and comfortable with a slim lined balcony breakfast would have been good except that a coach party decided to leave with all the pastrys etc and the hotel was not able to replenish them and we were not able to get drinks at 10 in the evening so a night cap was out of the question BUT when in the area again we will book it
