The positives were the hotel staff, who were very accommodating and attentive, and the convienant free shuttle bus to and from the airport. The location itself is an ideal distance from the aiport, however it is quite old, with long, unattractive hallways of old red brick, which smelled of cigarettes and mustiness. The communal areas were extremely limited, as though an afterthought, and I can not imagine anyone actually using them, so they're likely just for show, but it doesn't look inviting. The view from the back side of the hotel looked out through some low trees to a dirt field, which is fair enough for a 3-star hotel, however there seems to be a large amount of (guard?) dogs being kept in a fenced area on that property only 40 metres away from the hotel, and they bark constantly, day and night, with peaks of extremely excited barking which is noticeably loud and hard to ignore. There were an old pair of dirty shorts clumped in the hotel's yard, right below the balconies and tree-line, which was a bit off-putting to see. There is not much around the hotel in walking distance, including public transport, so expect to use taxi or uber unless you want to walk extended distances.
Generally, the hotel was serviceable for an overnight stay. However, I do not recommend staying here for any more than an overnight layover. It was not a comfortable or enjoyable experience, and best used for budget stays only. The age of the hotel is very evident in its cramped and dated design.

Ideal for one night stay with an early flight booked. Management friendly and courteous . Taxi was ordered for us because the shuttle service starts at 7am which didn’t suit our early departure. Our room was immaculate with all facilities provided including complementary biscuits to have with our tea.. not often seen these days ✔️comfortable bed which provided a good nights sleep even though we had to get up at 5am. Highly recommend for anyone needing to be 5 minutes drive to Tullamarine.

With an early flight the next morning from Tullamarine and 2 young kids we decided to try the mantra and save the early morning drive and it was great. Great service and staff the facilities are exceedingly and we’d definitely recommend staying there.

Great hotel with great service.
The staff at the hotel front was very friendly and nice.
Highly recommended.
The washer and dryer inside the room was the best thing to have on the last day of our trip.

Rooms are within a Pub, Restaurant, function centre and surprisingly quiet. 8 minutes in Uber to Airport for $20, was still a saving of about $130.00 of the cost of Airport Hotel we usually stay at so definitely staying here again. Bed comfortable and fantastic rain shower. Complementary water bottles and because we booked direct we received free breakfast packs and free drink each in the bar... Small issue in our room was quickly rectified by the Lovely Sarah, who also checked us in, very efficient.

I stayed here twice for 1 night, a week apart as a necessary stopover near Melbourne airport because of awkward flight times. The free airport shuttle is easy to access by phoning them on arrival (sometimes they might already be there), and it leaves the hotel every 1/2 hour, you just pre-book. My first stay I was in room 174 on the 1st floor. There is a lift but it's a long way around, and just a short stair climb. I couldn't manage my suitcase but a staff member was happy to help me. The room was clean, bed very comfortable, but the pillows were those very high ones, which aren't great for me. I didn't do anything about that since it was just the one night. The bathroom floor was incredibly cold though, so having the shower mat down was necessary. The only real noise I noticed were some very noisy squawking birds (cockatoos) at dawn. 2nd stay I was extremely impressed at check in. They'd kept my details so I didn't have to re-register; they remembered the trouble I had with my suitcase so gave me a unit on the ground floor (room 203 which I found to be nicer- easier to get out of the bed on both sides and a bit more spacious), and she'd remembered my passing comment about the pillows and had managed to track down some flatter ones and had them waiting on the bed. So excellent customer service :) Sadly I had to leave at 5.30am the next day! Just a couple of minutes away is a Red Rooster chicken fast food place, and a Hungry Jacks (aka Burger King), and it's about a 10min walk to a shopping centre with supermarkets. For a stopover I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there again if I'm doing a Melbourne stopover again.

This hotel has the worst service of any Hyatt I have ever stayed at. The overall staff was absent-minded, and no one ever answered the front desk phone or room service. Several times we had to run downstairs to communicate with the front desk. There are no bathrobes in the hotel, which is the first time I have encountered this.

Arrived at the airport at midnight and stayed here just for a night on arrival.
The room was more spacious than I expected, kind of too big for one person.
Clean enough, comfortable bed, enough amenities.
One thing, when I got to the hotel, the door was locked because the receptionist was out for the airport to drive some guests. I was waiting outside for like 15 min and it was quite chilly. This is the only problem here. Yet, the receptionist was nice and helpful so I’m satisfied with the stay. Thank you.

The Airport Tourist Village clearly acts as an accommodation for transit visitors as well as construction workers, although the areas appear to be quite defined. Transit travelers are accommodated in spacious apartment style rooms that consist of a bedroom, bathroom, lounge area and kitchen. The Bedroom is of a re, containing a very comfortable sofa, reasonable size and contains a large comfortable bed as well as providing considerable closet and storage space. The lounge area is spacious, containing, apart from some occasional furnishings and nice artwork, a very comfortable sofa as well as a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is spacious and is well supplied with kitchenware and complimentary beverages. The bathroom is of a reasonable size, but the shower itself is quite small, meaning that the knocking of elbows while washing becomes inevitable. While towels, bathmat and complimentary toiletries are supplied, face cloths are not. Wi-Fi connection was existent but erratic. Located on a bus route enabling residents to reach local train stations and a five-minute walk from a small local shopping centre which includes several dining options.

We were excited to give a new hotel a try as an Accor plus gold member and made booking through the app but received no upgrade, welcome gifts or welcome drinks on check in. I later asked about welcome drinks and did receive 2 vouchers despite being a booking for 4 and later had chocolate and water sent to the room. Tried to arrange the shuttle for the next morning departure but was booked out well in advance, the walk isn't far but a little hard with young kids with cot, pram and luggage. Tried the pool which was very good but needs some more seating around it. Had dinner at the restaurant but was very average the pizza and kids meal were just ok but my wife's fish was under cooked and took a long time to re cook. We ordered soft serve for dessert but after a 30 minute wait we had to cancel it. The kids meals were added to the Accor plus bill so the discount rate was diluted more than should have. Overall was a very disappointing despite being neat and new service is lacking.
