Arrived in Melbourne's first night of accommodation, because the hotel called the hotel in advance, they put the room door key under the door mat, clean! Good location, the starting point of the Great Ocean Road is very close, next time there is a chance to come!
The hotel is actually a RV camp. There are a lot of RVs in it. But Ctrip has a wooden house. The kitchen utensils have cooking utensils. There is a children's playground in the park. It is suitable for children to play. The park is directly adjacent to the beach, but we go. When the sea breeze is too big, there is no long time to stay at the beach. The hotel is also very close to the coles supermarket. It is very convenient to live here.
A very good stay experience. This is a self-driving campsite located in Torquay, the starting point of the Great Ocean Road, with a variety of room types. The rooms are large, clean, and equipped with fully equipped kitchens. We purchased ingredients from Coles and WW not far away and made two meals ourselves. The campsite is conveniently located on Ocean Road, just a few minutes' drive from the town centre. If you check in after hours, they will put the keys in the safe at the entrance, and you can ask for the safe password with just a phone call.

Pros: 1) The location is perfect to start / end the Great Ocean Road. 2) The tariff is cheap. 3) The place is easy to find and there is parking available right in front of the hotel. 4) The room and bathroom were clean 5) The wifi was free with good connectivity and speed. 6) There is a very good front end restaurant. 7) The place is quiet at night with good sleep quality. Cons: 1) Front desk is not 24/7 2) It took a very long time for the hot water to start working.
Last minute booking as we had some issues with our initial reservation with another accommodation nearby. Staff was friendly and accommodating. He shared some nice recommendations around the Great Ocean Road during our stay too. Only drawback was that our trip was during end Winter, where tourism was dull, hence many amenities such as dining in the resort itself was not available.
Reception staff were really friendly, and rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would have been nice to stay longer to enjoy all the facilities, but hopefully we will be back. Torquay is a beautiful spot to explore with beautiful beaches and lovely walking tracks.
There is a surprise, the scenery is so beautiful! The front desk service of the hotel is good, warm and professional. The facilities include an indoor swimming pool and a golf club. The view from the ocean terrace in the room is very good
We stayed at this motel during our drive along the Great Ocean Road in peak season (just after New Year). Booking late meant options were limited, and while the price was on the higher side, it’s to be expected for this time of year.
The room, though a bit dated, was exceptionally clean—one of the cleanest we’ve come across. The motel is situated in a very quiet and peaceful location, perfect for a restful night. However, you’ll need a car to get into Torquay.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again if we’re in the area.
Not sure why this is referred to as a ‘resort’, it’s definitely nothing more than a nice holiday apartment building. Breakfast isn’t worth it. $15 for a cold breakfast or $25 for hot breakfast with drinks an extra $4 each. Paying $300 a night, it should be included. Hot breakfast isn’t a buffet either, it’s the same plate of cooked items for everyone. The resort was advertised as certain activities included, nothing noted about additional charges. When we rang to book, we were advised these activities are not included, and can’t be booked through the venue. The photos online look amazing - a little misleading to what you’ll find upon arrival. The pool doesn’t look as inviting as the photos make out. Our blind couldn’t be halfway up as it just slowly dropped down on it’s own. As we stayed during Covid, our room wasn’t serviced, however you get a basket of replenishments left inside your door during the day. Plenty of cheaper options, better value for money, and closer to town. We’re happy to pay, but expect more for the cost. Golf course was lovely, accommodation isn’t worth it at that price point unfortunately.
