The apartment is fully equipped with laundry facilities, cooking utensils and tableware, and even plastic wrap and baking paper. Free parking is provided and you can directly reach the beach, which is very suitable for personal travel. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the core scenic area, and less than 5 minutes to the train station, which is very convenient.
It is a conveniently located and comfortable accommodation. The quality of the breakfast buffet was excellent, and it was very cozy and ideal for staying with family.

The hotel is within 10 minutes walk from the coastal beach. We booked the two-bedroom and one-washroom and gave the 27th floor of the tower3. Every room and living room can see the sea view, which is very good. Downstairs is the supermarket, there are many restaurants nearby, and the bus stop is just across the road from the hotel. It is very convenient. Kitchen utensils are readily available and it is convenient to cook for yourself. The only downside is that the toilet is not well ventilated.
It was a cozy place to stay in. Room is clean and spacious even if you have lots of luggages. Loved the mini kitchen/dining, very aesthetic. Although the sink is quite small, especially if you're washing the utensils but, still manageable 😉. Tram station is just a few steps away, going to and from to other places is not an issue.
Great stay! Perfect for kids and adults alike with the choice of both the pool and ocean. Just wish I had booked the sea view. I couldn’t fault the service especially when addressing an issue with our parking.
The room is very good, there is a big balcony, can communicate in Chinese, Uncle Aunt is very kind! Also recommend us a lot of delicious restaurants, a lot of fun places! Recommended recommendation!
Excellent apartments, the first line, from the balcony was a view of the ocean, a nearby descent to the beaches, near 5-10 minutes walk shopping center. Big living room (2 sofa, dining table, magazine table, TV, conferror) with kitchen (chef, refrigerator, teapot, microwave, food and cooking dishes) its balcony with table and chairs, bedroom double bed + cabinet, bath small, There is a room with washing machine + dust, tug, layout dryer. There is a swimming pool and barbecue area at the hotel. Parking. Respeshchen is closed as everywhere in 16-17 hours, but the entrance to the hotel by electronic key. Very enjoyed!
Private apartment. It has everything. Grey like it. The place is very central and the transportation is convenient. It's the sister building of Hilton. I knew it, and I lived there for a month ^_^

GGuest UserModerate room with everything nearby, the pool is especially nice & Japanese restaurant is a must try
HHKRayKBooked a one bedroom ocean spa apartment for 6 nights in Mid Oct 2024. Stayed on 38 floor. First impression when entering that apartment was ”great view”.
Apartment is spacious and very clean, kitchen facility has stocked with many pot & pan and utensils, can make regular meals with no issue. Also has washer & dryer too. There is a jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom that is a bonus!
We brought food from Coles supermarket (walking distance from Q1) and made breakfast and dinner.
To get to Q1 resort from Gold Coast airtport, We brought a public transport card ”GO” from shop in airport arrival hall, took the airport bus #777 from airport (30 minutes ride) to Broadbeach, transfer to the local tram, get off at Surfers Paradise stop. Q1 resort is right across the street. The whole ride is last than 45 minutes, cost only 50 cents AUD., great deal!!
BTW, all bus & tram ride within Gold Coast area is 50 cents. So get a GO card. Just make sure you tap on and off with each ride.
GGuest UserThis is my second stay. It should be the best hotel (apartment) in Surfers Paradise. Generally, apartments are cleaned every three days, but Soul cleans every day. The location is very good. Just downstairs and across the road is the beach. There are many restaurants around, which is convenient for dining. The room is very large and spacious, very suitable for family travel. I will choose Soul again next time. It's really great!
GGuest UserLocation is near to surfer paradise north tram station. Nice ocean view. 1 aircon was leaking, the other aircon had noises. Housekeeping didn't turn up, we stayed for 7 nights. Dish washing detergent and sponge were not provided, we are unable to wash utensils at the kitchen. The dishwasher does not get the utensils clean...
GGuest UserHad an upgrade from an Executive Suite to Family Suite giving more room space with views of the beach and daily room services kept our Suite fresh and clean. The Breakfast menu was always our go to and got us ready for our busy day. Thank you Novotel Surfers Paradise for always making our stay feeling like home.
SSJSThe hotel is excellent in almost all respects. Great location, amenities, and service. Highly recommend splurging on the ocean suites for scarcely-believable views of the ocean, of the sunrise, the Esplanade and even ocean wildlife. From our 75th floor view, we were able to spot humpback whales early in the morning. The suites are basically fully-equipped apartments with washer/dryers, full kitchens and two full baths. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub on the fifth floor are a great place to watch the sunset. Perhaps having a staff member in the indoor pool area to prevent kids from jumping around in the indoor hot tub would have allowed adults to relax in there.
The Castaway coffee shop on the street level is a great place for breakfast and coffee, and the independent Italian restaurant on the second floor is excellent as well.
Would return and recommend. The only recommendation is for the hotel to provide power adapters to international guests. All other 5-Star hotels in the area readily provide these.
GGuest UserCalled the hotel to advise of our late check in. Had been driving 16 hours and had a snappy receptionist check me in. The process was unusually long and was not given any information of carparking or breakfast (which was included). The girl at the reception failed to provide basic information on the hotel such as wifi, carpark, breakfast and amenities. This was just before 1am so I decided to let it slide. At about 2am, I rang to ask for toothbrush kit and shower cap and she had come up to the room and said that there’s no toothbrush kit and to go to the convenience store where it will be cheaper for me. Now I’m confused, what an odd comment to make, I didn’t realise I needed the cheaper option but okay. I then advised her that I had food being delivered and requested if she could bring it up to the room. She said yes of course and advised me to inform the delivery driver to drop it off at reception to her. I did exactly that and received a call minutes later, asking me to come down to pick it up. Clearly, I’m confused as we literally had this conversation less than 10 minutes prior. She asked me to come down and when I asked if she could bring it up as discussed, she asked me if I was about to take a shower. I said as a matter of fact, it is and then she said yeah well you have to come down. At this point I’m beyond irritated because firstly, what a bloody odd question to ask a guest at 2am in the morning. I went down and got it myself, have no issues with doing that but definitely have an issue when I was advised otherwise and then met with such poor service. Been to so many hotels and have had no issues, first time experiencing such poor customer service, unprofessionalism and attitude from what was meant to be a warm and friendly reception staff. Next day, staff were great and breakfast was adequate with the basic breakfast variety.
GGuest UserSurfers Beach Holiday Apartments was a great place to stay for our family. The management was helpful. Rooms were of a good size. The location is quiet. It is a easy walk to catch the G:tram. This makes getting to Surfers Paradise or other locations easy. Riding the G is also much cheaper and easier than trying to find parking for the car. While we were there, there were few people using the pool. Our grandkids had a great time... and mostly had the pool to themselves. I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator.(My fault for not checking.) Being on the third floor normally wouldn't have been an issue. Because of health issues for one of our family members, it would have been easier if we had been on a lower floor. If I had contacted the management when booking they said they would have tried to give us a lower floor. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.
GGuest UserIts a very old hotel, room was quite clean inside however in much need of a renovation as so much was old, slightly broken and outdated. The outside area (bbq and pool) was incredibly dirty and neglected. Tiles all cracked inside the “small pool” which im sure was supposed to be a spa that doesnt work and everything was mouldy and unkept.
The location is good if you want to be near caville ave.
Paying and extra $15 per night for parking isnt reasonable on top of the booking cost. This is maybe a 3 out of 10
Kids liked the water slide which was the only redeeming quality.
LLittle Bear 29Excellent service at this hotel, and loved getting the text offering a cheaper 3rd day stay, took them up on offer, very happy and would stay here again. Only one street over from light rail stop and even nearer to bus stop.
