Find the Cheap Saint Kilda East Hotels

If you don't mind taking the tram to the beach, you can consider making the tram a few stops. You can experience unique traffic. Walk in a quiet residential area for 3 minutes. There is No. 16 car to the beach. The beach is empress station. There is a swimming pool and fitness facilities in the city. The laundry room can wash all the dirty clothes during the trip. It ’s so cool. The garden-style hotel is better than those on the beach. I like this peaceful beach a lot of mental illness because St Kilda has a lot Weirdos and marijuana beggars are not as good as living in this area. What are the bad things to say? I think some people may think the room is a bit old-fashioned? My room is a SPA room. The door opened is a small yard. It is very comfortable. My son likes it. It is better than the seaside ridges. The space is larger and more casual. The best is two nights. Enjoy the facilities.

The live situation of the accommodation is reasonable in Melbourne for such a price. The service at the front desk of the hotel is very good. The towel will be thoughtfully windy.

Stayed as a last-minute business traveler. Price was very affordable, and I soon learned why. Extensive building works made everything very difficult to navigate- understandable. However, the setup with parking was a nightmare, as you need to checkin before you park, and need a roller door fob to access car park. Lifts don't go back to the car park (its took 2 lifts to find my room), so thank God I didn't put my key in the box before retrieving my car. Room was clean, but the grubby, worn remotes are not very covid-friendly. Even checking out was difficult, as you need the fob to get to the check-out box. Possibly the most convoluted security setup I have seen, and I have stayed in some pretty rough places around the world. Certainly don't book if you have any mobility issues, small children, vision impairments or claustrophobia....

First unit we utilized the 2-bed, 2 bath unit. It was top notch! If you are looking at booking, it is the unit with no balcony. However, you do have a nice, sunny living area, with wrap-around windows. It also had double layer shades to only block sun, or block sun and light. We had plenty of hot water for showers with three gals enjoying a travel-for-wedding vacation. One notation, if you are going to a wedding, don't be an idiot like me, and assume St. Kilda Townhall (across the street) is the same as Melbourne town hall. If your wedding is at Melbourne townhall, you have a 20 minute uber ride to tackle. Being from the Rocky Mountain region in the US, I enjoyed the sounds from the tram moving by the apartment. It was novel. You may want to consider this if you are a light sleeper though (only in 2bed/2 bath. The other unit we rented was on the rear alley side of the building, so no trolley noise there). The unit was exceptionally clean. Next, we stayed in the unit displayed as 2 bed/1 bath. Upon move in, we found there was actually a tiny powder room in the hallway with a toilet. So there were two toilets, one shower. The balcony was massive, with a 6 person table, and entire living space with outdoor sofas. If you are there in the summer, this unit would be amazing! It was still slightly chilly in mid November, so we did not utilize it much. But it was all clean and in nice repair. One of the bedrooms has a walk-in closet, as well as a door to the huge terrace. A few things to point out about both units overall: They provided a generous amount of starter coffee, tea, dish detergent, washing machine detergent (at least enough for 2 loads on both). There was a tidy ironing board, iron, air drying clothes rack, vacuum, and hair dryer. We realised you must leave the closet open when using the tumbler, as it vents the moisture back into the apartments, not outside. We came back to water everywhere, not realising it would blow the moist air back into the closet. Just leave the closet doors open, and it will not create condensation dripping on the floor. I would recommend the property get spatulas for making pancakes and eggs. They did have a corkscrew, that was nice! There is only one wall style mitsubishi heater in the apartments. so if you are there in the winter, you may want to buy/pack blankets, as the heater does not do much for the bedrooms. even the living space was a bit chilly on cold days. That said, in November, I thought the bedding was very cozy and warm. Just glad I brought a blanket for the sofa. Location was awesome! Dominoes pizza is next door & open late (and has gluten free pizza). Loads of cool vintage shops on Carlisle Street, about a 5 minute walk away. There are also multiple big supermarkets on Carlisle. Plenty of nice bars, Asian restaurants, & coffee shops too. Uber costed about 15-20 USD in November 2022 to get to Downtown Melbs. Walking to the bay and fun park on the water took about 20 minutes. This is the second time for me at this hotel. There are many things that make it suitable, certainly for me. Firstly the location is good, close to St Kilda Junction and trams to the city and elsewhere. There is a bus that runs down Barkly St that will take you to St Kilda proper. Secondly, the rooms are good value, spacious enough, good modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water flow, heating (aircon), good wifi, and they are clean and quiet. They have a comfortable bed which provides good sleep. The only downside is the location does not have too much nearby in the way of places to eat, although the Crest Hotel next door does have a restaurant and coffee shop. There are no close places like a 7-11 to get drinks or snacks, the nearest is a 10 minute walk. The only other thing I can fault on this stay was the room was in need of some TLC with a few minor repairs needed. Other than that, this is a good priced hotel offering most of what you will need.

Hotel was clean and the rooms were large, giving enough room for two backpackers. The hotel staff were amazing at dealing with an issue with some guests next door and even came and found us again the next day to explain what had happened. The gym was fine to use for us too!

Excellent place very friendly staff, great location easy to walk to Fitzroy Street. Car park underground spots are a little bit tight for parking. Safe location, easy check in, lovely bottle of wine for hubby's birthday

Highly recommended! We had a great stay in a comfortable and spacious room. Location is also great and public transport is close. Staff is friendly and helpful. Value for money, the price is unbeatable for Australia.
