Great place, good facilities and clean rooms. Shout out to the ****** who wake up at 5 am stand around talking and wake everyone up and then start their noisy cars and leave to go to another hotel.

Location: not at city Centre, but if you have a car, it’ll still be convenient enough Next to the waters, so the morning view is great Service: mentioned during the booking that it was for a friend’s birthday and the hotel made special arrangement for the occasion and it was very much appreciated There is also Archie the dog that added to the pleasant experience Cleanliness and amenities: the room was clean and tidy and the amenities provided were adequate

The location of the hotel is very ideal, the environment is quiet but because it is close to the coastal pier, it is also unique and lively, not to mention the beautiful scenery! The person in charge of the front desk, Miss Jade, deserves a lot of praise. In addition to her warm and friendly attitude, she only rented two rooms when she found out that we were traveling as a family, so she upgraded our room to a connecting suite! Let us live together and communicate and take care of each other easily! The room is certainly neat and well-equipped! In addition, knowing that we were driving to the hotel, they specially arranged a parking space for us, which was really considerate! You feel right at home!

Overall, it is worth it, but would be nice if the other customers in the opposite rooms weren’t noisy. Hotel should limit the number of guests with room. For example, the people in my adjacent and opposite rooms have more guests than the actual bed. So noisy all night until morning.

The facilities are complete, beyond your imagination, the service is thoughtful and convenient, the environment is colorful, fully reflecting the unique style of art, the sanitary conditions are also very good, 24-hour hot water supply, bathing at any time is very convenient, it is a very unique experience, very good, very nice !!!

The rooms are large, all of them are suites, there is the hotel's own restaurant downstairs, connected to the parking garage, a parking fee of $ 8 a day, the location is in the urban area, the city itself is not large, basically can be walked, it is recommended to stay

The hotel is quaint and has a warm and friendly front desk. They give out Christmas cards and gifts. The facilities are retro and interesting. The environment is good and parking is free.

The pods are extremely comfortable. At first I was afraid of the quality but I was nothing but satisfied. Everyone who was there was kind and respectful of each other and I would 100% stay again. The only thing I would criticise is the bathroom. Which could use a bit of a clean especially the showers.

As a solo traveller just spending one night in Launceston, The Star Hotel was the ideal choice. It is centrally located and street parking was easy to find and free between 17.30 and 09.00 next day. The room itself was compact but comfortable with an ensuite. The friendly, efficient female staff member was able to help with local advice and when I decided to have dinner later, the food and service were exceptional. Three see a couple of stair cases to negotiate but really no trouble. This place was a highlight of my travel in Tasmania.

At first we can't find the reception as the address they gave us was empty. Hv to call the guy to lead us there. The house is 200% fully equipped with all the nitty gritty thing you can't imagine, even a air fryer, band aid..... Clean new n modern. Great value for the price u paid.
