Excellent
SSheelaOur family absolutely loved our stay at this resort! The close connection with nature was a highlight — watching rabbits hopping around, birds chirping, and other wildlife added a magical touch to our experience. It felt like a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
However, one night truly doesn’t do justice to everything the resort has to offer. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the amazing facilities, like the heated pools and other activities. If you’re planning to visit, we highly recommend staying at least two nights to fully soak in the experience.
A tip for travelers: try to book during the weekdays. The rates were nearly double during the weekends, so a midweek visit is both budget-friendly and less crowded. This resort is a gem for nature lovers and families alike!
DDaweidaliPhillip Island is not big, and it is convenient to get around. The small yard is beautiful, the hygiene is OK, there is no kitchenware, but there is a microwave
MMomomiao shicha+1.5xiaoshiThe location of this motel is very good, very close to the gas station⛽️, the beach, and places to eat. It is clean and hygienic.
I will be woken up by the sound of birds and other people checking out in the morning.
But I can understand that it is very convenient to book here when I go out to play.
I have also been to the Penguin Island three-piece set and I am quite satisfied.
Here is a reminder that you can watch milking for free at 2 pm at Churchill Farm, and there will be no farm shows such as sheepdogs herding sheep after 3 pm, so you should arrange your time reasonably.
GGuest UserOur first time to do self check in, the instructions given were clear and easy to follow.
We arrived late and didn't see a single staff during our stay. Yet, the staff replying our queries through emails were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
The room is spacious and clean, not fancy but comfortable. Hot water was running a bit slow for the last person to take a shower. Otherwise, it was perfect.
The location is great, within walking distance to the restaurants and shops, or a 2 min. drive. There is a children's park outside the hotel and the kids enjoyed it very much. The beach view is also spectacular.
GGuest UserThe restaurant at the hotel serves decent western/Italian food but services can be a bit slow. And too bad no breakfast served. But it does have a fancy fireplace and service staff were friendly and helpful.
Really love the jacuzzi in the room! Would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the proximity to the beach.
WWangtonyThis is should not be called Hotel, it is more like backpack.
The check-in is quite a drama. The reception told me that someone travelling with me took the room key already, as soon as I told her my name and presented her the booking confirmation. I was stunned to hear it as all my family members were not even getting off the car yet.
Staying in the hotel room is like staying in the tent at a campsite, as you can hear everything next door or down the road.
Not recommend to stay there again.
AAnonymous UserI stayed for 2 nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The person in charge at the counter was helpful in explaining the cabin location and providing necessary information, making the check-in process smooth. The cabin itself was clean, and all the kitchen equipment was complete, which made our stay comfortable. However, I noticed that the facilities for kids were not as extensive as in other Big4 parks. The nearest town is Cowes around 15mins by car. Overall, it was an okay stay.
GGuest UserIt was very pleasant and roomy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean. The only thing I had trouble with was the bathroom taps. It was difficult to turn on and off.
It leaked if it was not tightly turned off.
Kind Regards

GGuest UserThe coachman is a glorified Service Apartment but that's not a bad thing. The staff were extremely friendly on both Check In and Check Out.
The room was appropriately filled with key things. Towels, little bottles of shampoo, soap etc. The rooms weren't, to our knowledge, cleaned daily but if it's a short stay, it doesn't matter.
Fridge was great. Induction cooktop too. Not a fan of having to do the dishes but it is what it is. (You may have to buy detergent and something to scrub with them)
Only real sticking point is the slow drainage of water in the shower. Other than that, it was perfectly fine. There is also a communal pool that can be used.
AAntoni ErdegPlace was really nice and we booked one of the King Room with a Spa.
The room was really clean and was provided with towels, extra blankets, two bowls and plates and extra pillows etc. Our room had a nice new split system. Unfortunately, when the split system was turned on it kinda smelled a little like cigarettes, but no big deal.
Definitely would book this place again for a nice quick and local get away.
Me and my wife booked same day as our stay.
Definitely would recommend booking the King Room with Spa if you really want nice stay and experience.
