The hotel is on the north bridge, very close to Chinatown. There are small supermarkets, fresh tea lanes (milk tea shop) and Chinese restaurants within a hundred meters of the walk. There are also many bars nearby. Walk to the business district for about 15 to 20 minutes, you can take a cat car, because the road is slightly rounded, so the time is similar to walking, but you can sit and enjoy the street view. The room is not big, the kitchen is very simple, I personally feel that cooking instant noodles is OK, to make steaks and other easy to produce soot, or forget it. Convenient parking, 25 Australian dollars / day, probably a cheaper hotel. The front desk service is also very nice, not deliberately close, but very friendly, warm to tell you all the convenience information nearby.

Both me and my son enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Although its more like a 'clubbing' area, I feel it is still safe and I have a child with me. And its just two of us.
Staffs are friendly and hotel is at a good location. Room is well maintained, clean and comfortable. We had good 4 night of sleep! View from our room is fantastic. Breakfast was good too.
Will definitely return again!

No recommendation. I absolutely did not feel comfortable in the hostel. It smells, the rooms are uncomfortable and the bunk beds wobble, you notice every movement and have no grids on top so you could just fall out. Too big, too noisy. But the staff are nice and the sanitary facilities and kitchen are cleaned very regularly.

The Alex Hotel was a lovely relaxing stay-cation. The hotel it self is beautifully designed and furnishings, its a very tasteful modern chic boutique hotel. I liked the 3 choices of room sizes very clean, comfy bed and pillows. The roof top bar was outstanding and it was huge giving you the choice of a variety of seating arrangements, also the after hours mini bar was a great idea. I better mention how fantastic the coffee was. The stand out for this hotel was the location, tucked away from annoyances but less than a 100m either way for restaurants and public transport staff were always there to help but weren't pesty either. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay a firm favorite.

4 night stay.
Room was spacious and comfortable. Great bed and bedding. Reception area unwelcoming atmosphere and layout and reception staff need to be a a little more welcoming, smiles are free. But that is starting to feel like a Perth thing. Not just Rydges. Maybe reception staff consider themselves slightly superior. Room service on the other hand had a lovely demeanour and work ethic.

We recently stayed at Novotel Perth Murray Street and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel offers decently spacious rooms, which were modern, well-designed, and comfortable. The cleanliness was impeccable, and room is clean upon our arrival. However, we did experience one service issue that detracted slightly from the overall experience. The body wash dispenser in our bathroom was empty from day one, and despite its noticeable lack, it was not refilled during our stay. Weโre unsure if this was an oversight or a reluctance to restock, but itโs something that could be improved. That said, the hotelโs central location and excellent room comfort make it a great choice for travelers. With a bit more attention to such details, the stay would have been flawless.

There are parking lots within 200 meters of Perth city centre. When you go out and turn right, there is a parking lot for a large van. Unlimited supply of mineral water for guests. Guests can enjoy a 10% discount on dining in the hotel beer hall and a free glass of wine per person. Breakfast is available next door with a meal coupon of 15 Australian dollars. The only drawback of the hotel is that there is no elevator. Fortunately, it is only on the second floor.

I really enjoyed my stay at Oaks Hotel. Location is superb, just a few mins walk from Perth Ubderground station. Right in front of the hotel, the free bus (Red Cat Bus) stops and pick up paxs. Perth has this wonderful free transit zone (FTZ) buses that is convenient snd best of all, it's FREE (Red, Purple, Blue, Green and Yellow) it covers the basic city and biz locations.
The Hop On and Hop Off Bus stops here too. One can book on Trip Com and prices are cheaper.
Hotel is 4 5 star, really clean with friendly Front Desk staff. Only issue is they don't reply to email queries.
Overall, good value for money, great location, friendly staff.
Thank you
Lena
