The hotel is hygienic and convenient and well-equipped, but it is only cleaned once a week due to the epidemic situation. You can borrow a vacuum cleaner to clean it yourself. The location is near boxhill, but it takes more than 20 minutes to walk; there is a station near the door, you can take the tram to the city center; there is a parking lot, $15 a day.

I am Chinese. I have stayed at this hotel many times. The first time I feel it is acceptable. Now I feel worse and worse, but the location is better. The service can only be improved. There is no hot water in the bath, and the air conditioner is noisy. There is no spare pillow in the room, the sofa collapses, just the TV can meet the requirements. Such a room should not be offered to customers. I only stayed for one night so I didn't pursue other things. I won't stay at this hotel again.

Very nice location, I felt like it was very good pricing. They do make up the room every other day, so just need to be prepared for that. Pretty good amenities. The lack of an established pick up/drop off point will be a little awkward. But otherwise I like the place.

This is a well maintained , modern and clean place to stay , with great staff, who were friendly and helpful . Our suite was well equipped , quiet , clean and comfortable . A nice kitchen , 2 TV’s and 2 bathrooms . Comfortable lounge area , a roomy balcony with great views . (Was cold so we did not spend much time out there !) The pool and spa look great - did not use them , was cold and we were busy . Car parking is secure and it was easy to get to our room via the lift . Well placed , close to Box Hill facilities . We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was . We will be back !

The apartment is located in BoxHill. The room layout is good and the space is enough. It is suitable for children. You can watch YouTube on TV. The balcony is big enough and the scenery is beautiful. The front desk service is good. You can get anything you need from the front desk. The surrounding area is very convenient. It is very suitable for Chinese families, especially those with the elderly. There are many Chinese food options. There are coles and woolworths in the mall next door, as well as a large chemist. It is very suitable for buying souvenirs. It is also very fast to bring back to the apartment if you buy a lot. The mall can lead to the train station. It is very close. Although it is a little far from the city center, it is acceptable to take the train. It is mainly for the elderly. The surrounding area is convenient. The only thing is that the walkway does have a garbage smell, which deducts a little point, but it disappears when you enter the room. It is ok. I have a good impression of Melbourne.

This property definitely has some positives. The price is cheap for an apartment and it's very close to Box Hill Central and pretty close to Box Hill Hospital. The staff were able to get us in to our room early which was also very handy. The negatives, the amenities feel cheap, the double bed was made up of 2 single mattresses pushed together, and the mattresses were very thin. The couch was the same it just felt cheap and poor quality. The other negative with this property was the odor in the corridor which smelt like a mixture of cigarettes and stale cooking smells, although within the apartment we were in there was no odor so that was a positive. If you need somewhere for a short stay in and around Box Hill this property is quite ok, but be realistic about what you are expecting at the price point

I stayed in the appartments across the road for a work course. I arrived at 8am just to leave my car for the day (pre arranged) and my room was ready so I checked in. From the moment I checked in I had no issues. The lady at reception was friendly and said they upgraded me to a 2 bedroom apartment, although I was by myself I didn’t mind. Very spacious and clean. Car parking was great! Wifi was good. The bed was comfortable. The only suggestion would be a small TV in the bedroom would be good. Overall the 3 nights were great for what I needed, I would definitely stay again.

I stayed in Box Hill motel between 3rd of Nov'23 - 5th of Nov'23. My husband and I arrived at Box Hill motel around 12-1pm. We were so exhausted as we took turn driving from Sydney - Melbourne. We drove from Sydney past midnight. Upon calling if we would be let in early, surprisingly it is allowed. Otherwise we would have slept in the car until check-in time if the room isn't ready yet. We got room no.1 and it was very clean. I didn't use the towel as I prefer to use my own towel, my husband also use his own towel. One of the hanging towel though had a snot on it and I put that towel aside despite we didn't use it. There were 3x plates in total and one of the plate was dirty and I assumed previous guest must have used this 1 plate and didn't wash it but instead just slipped it in between the clean plate. We used 2x plates for ourselves but I washed the 3x plates myself. Great Wifi speed too as I was able to complete a little bit of work from Room no.1. My parents always taught me to appreciate and respect people's places. Upon checking out, I saw Carol and OMG, she is so kind, friendly, down to earth and helpful. She was busy rolling people's luggage to their room. I remember my father always taught me the great businessman is not the one who always wanted to be served but the one who knew how to serve others first. There's a saying about ”servant leadership”. A great leader know how it feels to be at the bottom to observe, learn and serving others as well as better appreciate the top and experience various roles to understand the duties and responsibilities of each roles. THANK YOU Box hill motel team and Carol too for allowing us to stay at your beautiful clean and tidy place. We were able to sleep very soundly, hope nobody can hear us snoring :) I highly recommend Box Hill motel, Melbourne to anyone on a trip to Melbourne.
