Love the location although it’s a little difficult to reach. Breakfast is superb enjoyed it so much and the hospitality is good. We were received by Tracy and she is very good. The other staffs are equally good unfortunately I did not get their names. The surrounding is marvellous. The only down side is that wifi connection is weak in our room but very strong at the guest house . And no in room tv too. It’s very good to take you away from the outside world and bring you closer to nature. Will definitely return.

Stayed one night, it was a clean and large comfortable living area. It is about 30 minute drive to the nearest town so get all the groceries before the stay.

The resort is about a 50-minute drive from Cradle Mountain and a 15-minute drive from Sheffield. For me, the location is moderate and the price is reasonable, but the views from the other buildings are not good enough. The house is fully equipped with a variety of kitchen equipment and utensils, including ovens, microwaves, toasters, rice cookers, etc. There are also washing machines and dryers. There is a stove in the living room, and there are heaters and electric heaters in the room, making it very warm in the room. I will stay again.

It was raining all the way on the drive to the hotel, so it was great to arrive at a nice hotel. The room was not super modern but it was clean. As it was still raining, we enjoyed the comfortable lounge areas with a fireplace outside the room, to do some reading and catch up with other travellers. The buffet breakfast which was included was excellent. The hotel is a short drive to the visitors center where you can catch the shuttle bus (for a fee) to Dove Lake.

Very satisfied! The location is just opposite the scenic area service center, and the car is parked in front of the cabin. Although it was a super windy day in summer, we still turned on the heater, which was very useful. The kitchen was well equipped (there are no supermarkets nearby, so you need to purchase in advance). The restaurant's breakfast and dinner are limited and require reservations. After all, there are limited staff there, and we didn't try it because we didn't have time. You can go to the restaurant to buy coffee, which tastes okay. The restaurant is in a great location with a view of Cradle Mountain. The front desk lady is very friendly, pay attention to the check-in time.

We managed to do early check-in before official time. However, we realised the cottage was not clean at all as rubbish wasn't cleared, floors not vacuumed & towels left hanging around, likely by previous guests. So we had to return to reception to feedback & they immediately got housekeeping to do the job. Reception staff could do better with more smiles though. Cottage was quite roomy for 2 pax, but could be a bit tight if 4 pax were to stay together. Pretty basic accommodation but it was strategically located near Cradle Mountain visitor centre. Overall, a unique experience to stay in a mountain cottage like this, just that free WiFi was only available at reception & not in the cottage itself.
