Stayed here for a business trip. Has been a great place to stay, nice English/European traditional decor and furniture, very clean room near to everything. Room has all the amenities: iron, ironing board, hair dryer, lots of towels, chairs, table, desk, arm chair, comfortable bedding and pillows, air conditioning, free wifi. Function rooms look great. Near shopping centres and restaurants
Came from our rural home to catch up with family. Have stayed at Quest quite a few times and always find the Staff courteous and helpful. The apartment is always clean and comfortable and the bed super comfy. Quest is our place of choice to stay when we come up to Glen Waverley.
Was what I'd expect from an older motel really, could have been a little cleaner. The room I received was a little dated, the couch/sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sit on and was very warn out. But the Bed itself was fine. There were a few chewing gum wrappers and stuff that had been missed by the cleaners under around the couch area. The back door and window to the patio area were all fully locked and unable to open and the blinds a bit janky and hard to use. I was unsure if the bathroom was dirty or it was just the look of the tiles it could have been a bit of both. Wish i took photos because, looking at the photos online I couldn't see one that looks like the room i got. some of the photos look like some rooms have been updated. I did get the cheapest room possible though. If there is a deal and the price dropped below $90 for a basic single room then id probably return but without the discount there are a few nicer places around.

The room was clean. However there was no microwave and no plates or cutlery. The bathroom needs a working exhaust fan. The queen bed had only two pillows with one extra in the cupboard. The pillows were very flat and each person really needed two pillows. It was quite hot and we would have loved to sit by the pool but there was no shade. However we heard no road noise and enjoyed pleasant sleep.
There is a tram 75 to the Melbourne CBD near the hotel. The train station is far from the hotel and it takes 30 minutes to walk. There is a large supermarket near the hotel and shopping is very convenient. There is a parking lot. No breakfast, good health, very quiet, good service.
I stayed in the appartments across the road for a work course. I arrived at 8am just to leave my car for the day (pre arranged) and my room was ready so I checked in. From the moment I checked in I had no issues. The lady at reception was friendly and said they upgraded me to a 2 bedroom apartment, although I was by myself I didn’t mind. Very spacious and clean. Car parking was great! Wifi was good. The bed was comfortable. The only suggestion would be a small TV in the bedroom would be good. Overall the 3 nights were great for what I needed, I would definitely stay again.
Recently refurbished old motel ,Clean, good ,shower ,bed too hard for me but a good quality sealy firm mattress ,walls between rooms sound proof but front window is not. Only normal TV channels. Couldn't get to sleep until all hotel guests had arrived and stopped opening and closing car doors. Great location and price as far as cheap places to stay. No kitchen ,only a sink and microwave. Bring your own soap and shampoo unless you like no name liquid soap. Heaps of room to do your morning stretching exercises.
We recently spent 2 nights here & booked via booking.com. The hotel stands out like a gold shimmery beacon in a flat landscape but there is no signage to indicate how to access the place. It’s mainly occupied by residents so isn’t like a conventional hotel - this isn’t obvious at booking. There is no contact number so after doing laps of the block I ran out to the front door to see a mobile number for the manager on duty. He opened the underground car park door & we parked. Then checked in where he told us that there was no parking associated with our booking. He ended up finding a spot 20 minutes later. The room was nice. New, clean & had everything you need. The indoor pool needs to be prebooked which wasn’t told to us and the reception hours were different to what the print out of information they gave us at check in. The area has plenty of Asian cuisine options and little else. Finding a coffee or a cafe for breakfast on the Saturday morning was impossible - there’s just nothing open (except maccas). Overall everything was just too difficult & not smooth. Last thing you want after traveling for 12 hours.
This property definitely has some positives. The price is cheap for an apartment and it's very close to Box Hill Central and pretty close to Box Hill Hospital. The staff were able to get us in to our room early which was also very handy. The negatives, the amenities feel cheap, the double bed was made up of 2 single mattresses pushed together, and the mattresses were very thin. The couch was the same it just felt cheap and poor quality. The other negative with this property was the odor in the corridor which smelt like a mixture of cigarettes and stale cooking smells, although within the apartment we were in there was no odor so that was a positive. If you need somewhere for a short stay in and around Box Hill this property is quite ok, but be realistic about what you are expecting at the price point
Because this was the only hotel within walking distance from my friend's house, we stayed for a total of 4 nights and booked a 2+1+1 deal. Before checking in on the first day, the room fee and a deposit of 100 Australian dollars were charged to my credit card. On the fourth day, I went to the front desk to renew the room card (I couldn't open the door without renewing it). The front desk already knew that this was a prepaid order and asked if the payment would be deducted from the original credit card (I changed the name of the booker on the fourth night but didn't change the room and noted ”extend stay” in the order). I thought that after the prepaid order, the hotel might have to charge a deposit again because the name of the booker had changed, so I replied ”yes”. As a result, not long after, the front desk deducted 157 Australian dollars from the credit card again. I returned to the hotel in the evening and called the front desk. The front desk said it might be the deposit and asked me to talk to the manager tomorrow. I checked out very early the next day and the front desk was not at work. I negotiated with the hotel through text messages. The hotel said that I booked the room twice, once at the front desk and then again on Ctrip two hours later. They were so shameless. I booked the room on Ctrip one night in advance, but I didn't go to the front desk to renew the room card until after 9 o'clock the next day. After the communication failed, I had to contact Ctrip. If the negotiation with Ctrip failed, I would post a complaint on the hotel's official website. After repeated communication with Ctrip, the hotel agreed to refund the money, saying it was a ”communication misunderstanding”. I suggest that compatriots should check their credit card information more often when they go out, and safeguard their legal rights and interests in a timely and resolute manner, so that the chickens and dogs of T can't hide.
