Extraordinary holiday house. Adjacent to the Inner Sea Lake, the water is clear, and animals like mandarin ducks and cormorants are playing on the water, sitting on a private trestle, watching the sunset, watching the local children jumping into the lake to play in the water... daze, refreshing, super content . The rooms are clean, can cook, have microwave ovens, and there is a large supermarket within a five-minute drive. It is a 6-minute drive from Hyams White Beach, which is very convenient. The private garden can also use BBQ and electricity. Staying for two nights, the meaning is still not enough, ๐
They make excuses when confronted but after they firstly try to get away with it by playing dumb to start with. There room 3 is run down, old and cleanliness is appalling. Found hair, blood, mould, lots of staining?and faeces. Booked 3 nights combined so 2nd night moved us to room 6 which was for completely modern room with new bathroom only to book out room 3 again that night with air con not working, we cooked . I said the first day wont be staying and they wanted us on the 2nd day to notify them if we were leaving early so they could make profit of our loss for leaving early still having to pay for the room. I paid for it so it can sit empty till 10am check out on the 3rd day, wasn't telling them squat, wether we stayed or not. The staff and or owner played polite but just playing dumb to the conditions and terrible cleaning hygiene. The outside of the building looks like an abandoned old building. The only good thing was the club and shops nearby, but no beaches just swampy inlet. Paid $633 for 3 nights. Saying that I mistakenly booked this accommodation, would never have intentionally stayed here, but still you pay you expect a level of standard, this place did not have in parts.
Facilities and location were as described good. We were lucky with a large room and view of the bay. Without the odors from the kitchen exhaust systems directly in front of the window, it would have been perfect.

Friendly Staff but unfortunately the room was small, over priced. Doors need fixing. Weatherproof sealing. Our door and door next door rattled all night in the wind. Nothing was done after reporting. We were on the upper level. Extra $50 for view that did not show much of a view at all, ridiculous. Only serviced the room after requesting. We were there 4 nights. No lighting over bench above TV.
The environment is very good. There is a lake. It is very quiet. There are also some children's play facilities. The RV campsite has complete supply facilities. There are many children playing there. They all stay for several days. There are quite a few foreigners.
Hubby & I were looking for a quiet romantic place with a spa. We booked โThe Bankโ at Jervis Bay Retreat & got this & so much more. We arrived late around 8pm on Friday night & the owners had put the heater on to warm up the cottage for us. The spa bath was huge & definitely big enough for two. We also had our own bbq on our private patio. Our cottage had a good kitchen set up, 2 fridges (1 for food & 1 for booze), a large living area with couch & small tv & a small dining table. There was also interesting old bank memorabilia. Each cottage was spaced with plenty of room away from each other & the grounds were beautiful for a stroll around. This is a stunning, peaceful location.
This was a perfect romantic weekend away, everything was very well thought of. It was a quiet & really relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the forest, not many people around and we were able to fully disconnect. We arrived around 2pm and there was afternoon tea ready for us to enjoy (cakes& tea) which was carefully curated. Dinner & breakfast was included and the food was in both occasion delicious and very high quality. They even packed us a lunch to take with us on our last day which was made with love once again. All staff were lovely too. Would highly recommend!!!
