The parking lot is free and the barbecue venue is free. The hotel is easy to find on the main road. It is recommended to stay for two nights. We went to Melbourne for one night and it was not enough. A kangaroo lives there, there is a children's playground, and the park is opposite. The door was hosted by the lady boss. The boss worked a small job and was a friendly couple.
Motels without stovetops are rarely seen. . . . But the tableware is all there, little awkward. The hotel is actually small and long, with the beach at the bottom. The front desk is estimated to be the boss, the typical uncle aussie, enthusiastic and rough. Sound insulation is the biggest drawback, and you can hear snoring upstairs.
The location is very good, central, next to supermarket and restaurants. As soon as you reach the town you can see it from the road. Clean hotel and spacious room. They did not ask us for any document to make the entrance, I do not know if we were the only ones who arrived that day and the woman was very kind.

We booked the bigger room for 2 adults and 2 kids, but inside were only 2 chair and tiny table. It was horrible to have a breakfast inside. We wouldn’t come back there again. Very old motel, price doesn’t match the expectations.
We stayed for two nights in Eden Motel after two nights in Merimbula. We highly recommend this place. They are not only offering clean, comfortable bed and environments but also the good enough facilities(e.g heated pool, bbq place) with a very reasonable cost for a stay, we can’t find any better than these combination. The owner Josh and the receptionist Paula, they are so amazing who spent time to tell us through the Eden area. Where can fish and what choices of restaurants we can go. Very happy stay🎖️🍹😇
Good location, good amenities, basic breakfast included. The restaurant on site was closed when we stayed, but you can walk to the Pub over the road for dinner, perfect overnight stay.
The motel is right on the roadside, easy to find. The owner is a handsome Chinese guy, communication is barrier-free, and he also gave us a map to recommend places to visit. The car was parked at the door of the room, which was very convenient for taking luggage. There was a big bed and a small bed in the room, clean and hygienic.
It’s great to travel by car from Sydney to Melbourne in the Pacific. The hotel along the way has a good view, complete facilities, clean and good service. Have a chance to come back later!
Most excellent hotel I’ve ever stayed in a quaint town of Eden. Honestly, I was skeptical but I am happy. Fyi, this is for above 18 adult hotel. Kids can come as long as there’s a responsible adult with them. My room was the Aslings. Honestly, it was such a vibe upon opening the door! The bath tub was love! The huge bed was love! The smart tv was love! The complimentary minibar is extreme love!!! Sparkling water? Fancy!
Went here during winter. The wind was the main character here. My door rattled and I honestly thought ghost lah sia haha but there was a window right outside our room. So I just pushed my heavy luggage towards the door and then the window rattles instead hahahaa.
Heating was ok lah. Can keep you toasty in normal pjs. 2 windows (bathtub’s can see the sea abit), there’s a lift for your luggages (recommend to pack light and not bring the whole entire luggage family as space might be an issue), the room comes with breakfast but I mentioned that I’m a muslim and they said there are other dry foods I can has - fruits, cornflakes, sourdough bread (this was fantastic!!) and muesli yogurt. Simple simple je. We just stocked up on the bread and dah. Can last you till the afternoon.
I’m so reluctant to leave this place but we have a long journey ahead so ya lah. The wind here is still rough guys. I went out to my car and got pushed like a big bully roughing me up. Like, relax ah.
But that aside, will RECOMMEND. Car better park at the back. Free. Cos the one in front got the saman lady to come in the morning.

GGuest UserWe drove from Sydney to Melbourne via Eden. When we arrived at the hotel, it was past the check-in time. The hotel thoughtfully left the key in an envelope at the door, and also left a contact number at the door. At 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, the staff patiently told us where the house was. We checked in smoothly. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was an unforgettable experience 😀
