We stayed here for week in a family room and we were very impressed with our hotel, the rooms are in a gated area, so safe and secure, we had three bedrooms, beds super comfy had a good sleep, each room had it's own air conditioning unit, helps to sleep on those hot nights! A lovely kitchenette with cereal provided for breakfast and private court yard. Shopping Centre and restaurants just down the road. We had an issue when we stayed requiring us to stay in Cairns longer than we booked and the lovely management and staff went above and beyond to help us find accommodation as they were fully booked. Thank you, will definitely stay here again when travelling to Cairns.
The hotel has no breakfast, only a small cafe for simple dinners
There are many recreational facilities, tennis, swimming pool, golf, beach volleyball, trampoline, open-air movies every night, etc. There are also open-air movies with quilts laying on the ground to watch, and the baby is very happy and very excited
The hotel is also a camping place for RVs. There are so many RVs. Many grandparents live in it.
The room is full of cutlery, you can cook it yourself, the resort can also barbecue, there is a common barbecue point
The smallest room we live in also has a large bed and a bunk bed. The children especially like the bunk bed. They told me that they like this hotel. They rent karts every day. Most of us also rent a 7-person car and a bicycle as shown in Figure 9. AUD 10 for one hour, AUD 25 for 7 persons for one hour.
Cost-effective, less than 600 RMB per night, children also like it
Disadvantage
Room conditions are average, after all, the resort is not a hotel
There is no breakfast, and the nearest place to eat is 1 km. It is inconvenient to travel without a car.
Does exactly what it says on the tin - great place for a short stay with large comfortable rooms and great swimming pools. It’s very much motel style and does feel a little bit open to the road with not much security but we didn’t have any issues. It is a short journey away from the airport but not really near to anything being out of the town centre, however if you don’t want the expense of taxis to the centre then buses from the shopping mall opposite are frequent, easy and inexpensive. There is no food at the hotel but you can of course get an Uber Eats delivery or walk over to the shopping mall where you can grab breakfast etc - Cafe 63 opens till quite late and has a massive menu so you can have dinner there too (nothing fancy but adequate and not expensive) The hotel is quiet enough at night but you need to be lucky with the guests, there were some very loud guests when we were there but they seemed to make the most noise at 7am for some weird reason. Cairns doesn’t have much to offer mid range to cheap end that is decent unless you opt to pay a lot so this hotel is a no brainer really for value and comfort.
Very run down place. Nice pool and nice staff but the rest is a no. Lots of people living here, maybe because there aren't any rentals so it's very noisy at night time and also during the day. People smoke outside and the smoke comes through under the door. Smoke alarm came on twice in our room at night, had to take batteries out. No blankets or a hair dryer in the room. Room looks very old and dirty. Furniture and the bed spread is very dirty and have lots of stains. The remote for the TV could only do channels no volume. You also hear cars from the main street. Wouldn't stay again.

I just needed a place to sleep and shower while traveling for business. Very convenient and very affordable. Staff really friendly and was a pleasure talking to them. The only thing was the room smelt a little funny but got use to it after a while.
We stayed at the Edge Hill Tavern the night before our flight back home because it is not far from the airport. We arrived 2 hours early and the staff wasn’t bothered at all. They immediately checked us into the room. There were some struggles with the key system and they instantly gave us free drinks at the bar which was very very nice and courteous. As our flight left in the evening we asked for a late check out which was no problem at all! We were so impressed and exited about the staff as they were really friendly. The rooms are just perfect. You’ve got a good working AC a big TV with Netflix the bed is unbelievably comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. We were really happy during our stay as we were treated in such a good way! We would really recommend the hotel!

My family and I have recently stayed here to explore the rest of Cairns. Check in was quick and easy and our room was ready an hour earlier than expected. We stayed in a Superior Room (No. 459) which consisted of x2 Queen beds. The room was situated toward the rear of the resort with a smaller/quiter pool and a carpark to the rear. The room itself was spotless with enough towels / cleaning products for the family. The resort itself is covered in rich foliage and several swimming pools along with an Italian restaurant and flamingos a bar/restaurant which offers a wide variety of food. Due to my children having coliac diease the staff at both restaurant went above and beyond to cater to their needs, and both offer gluten-free meals. All in all we had a hassle free stay and the staff were extremely helpful and approachable.
