What a wonderful oasis awaits you as you find yourself staying actually amongst the rainforest on the north side of the Daintree River. The ambience and tranquility of the accommodation to the wonderful hosts Leigh, Jason and staff making you feel quite at home. With only seven cabins well placed on the property you do feel like you are in another world. Take a walk on the circular path. There it really makes you realise listening to the sound of the many leaves falling softly to the ground like rain. We would highly recommend a stay minimum two nights to soak up one of the natural wonders of this world.
The Daintree Rainforest area has to be one of the most sort after locations for Bird watchers and all who love the east coast rain-forests. Heritage Lodge in the heart of the area is perfectly placed for exploring the forest, so accessible for wonderful walks and wildlife. The Lodge itself exceeds expectations. The lovely spacious restaurant overlooks a small pool with trees beyond and the creek below. The detatched lodges spread along a feeder-track are spacious and well furnished. We greatly enjoyed our two night stay with a group, but longer there or a return trip would be so good to look forward to.

We were welcomed by the very nice and helpful host. They gave us wonderful tips and helped us book a Crock tour at the last minute. The B&B is located in a perfect location, on a heel in the middle of the forest, so the whole experience and view are amazing and authenctic. The room was very clean, and there is a shared living room, which includes a fridge and coffee and drinks, a big space to make yourself a snack or just to hang out. The whole property includes only three rooms, which make it very intimiate and quiet. The breakfast was very tasty and was according to a prior dietary request. As B&B in the middle of the forest, this is definitely a 10/10 accommodation.
Some of the friendliest staff I have ever met! The area was beautiful, and the rooms were pretty clean. Basic amenities that get the job done. On a beautiful beach, you are not advised to swim in the water. They even have a peacock that walks around in the morning! Wifi was not included, and breakfast was not free for people staying in dorms. However, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I recommend the Chicken Rosso!
Nestled in the heart of the Daintree, Cape Trib beachhouse is a peaceful and relaxing place to escape. Be prepared that there is no telephone reception or internet so you will need to digital detox. The whole place is very nicely landscaped. The beach is absolutely spectacular and will leave you speechless, pity about potential for crocodiles as the water is crystal clear. There is a laundry and ablutions block. Each room is fairly basic but has everything you need in the wilderness - good aircon, fan, fridge. The shower pressure is very low but nothing really to complain about. The pool area and restaurant have a tropical far north Queensland feel to them. Definately worth a visit if in Cape Trib.
