We had a confirmed booking from Trip.com but when we arrived at reception they did not have our booking. It was not Trip’s fault as apparently an intermediate company bungled the booking. The Blues fest was on so everything was booked out for 100km2. Fortunately the very kind manager at the Phoenician miraculously found a 1 br apartment for us and saved the holiday. The hotel is lovely and very central. Cannot fault it but confirm your booking directly with the hotel
We phoned prior to find out parking options. They said no valet. We arrive and sure enough, there’s complimentary valet parking for guests. This was a pleasant surprise. The lady at reception was not especially helpful. We requested an early check-in during booking process. We arrived around 2 hours prior to normal check-in and were told our room wasn’t recently. We paid extra for breakfast, $100 meal credit and late check-out. The receptionist twice mentioned a $50 credit - not sure why? Our lunch meal at restaurant Nineteen was excellent. Fresh oyster journey, moreton bat bugs and dessert. An extensive wine list including by the glass. The infinity pool on level 19 looks amazing. Given more time, we would have used it for sure. We booked the stellar room. The room itself was spacious and luxurious. King bed. Separate living/dining room. Both with large TVs. Bath tub. Monsoon shower. Bath robes and slippers. Smart lighting and curtains. Large balcony with 180 degree view, albeit ocean view mostly obstructed by other buildings. Mid afternoon, we received a random knock on the door. It was the turn down service. We didn’t oblige. Reception had failed to mention this. We ordered room service for dinner. Uninspired menu. Burger and fries took around 45 mins. It was warm at best. And very over priced. There was some loud-ish dance music being played in the shared corridor, over the in-house audio speaker system. Poor choice. We could hear it while watching TV in bed. Fortunately, the next sound track improved around 2300h. Breakfast was pre-paid. We were handed a memu and told we could order what we wanted. Juice, tea or coffee and a main. We ordered crab omelette and some sides. We were unexpectedly charged extra for the sides. It wasn’t explained to us. Thankfully, check-out was simpler and smoother than check-in. Concierge and valet were on point. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but for the price tag, don’t think it represents fair value - we’ll unlikely return.
We had a perfect 3 day stay. Beautiful apt, furnished beautifully, lovely decor, spotlessly clean, great views over the hinterland. Great reception. Joshua and Tamara were so helpful, couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The location is perfect. Pacific Fair, shops, restaurants, cafes for good coffee, light rail, beach - all 5 minute walk away. Mantra facilities are wonderful - pool, steam room, sauna, lounge, internet area and all spotless and smelling fabulous. Check in and departure were easy and as before Joshua and TAmara were excellent. Makes us want to return.

Another great stay at Ultra. Thank you Lindy and Jane. The staff are extremely friendly and offer great advice if required. Always a smile on your face Jane!! The apartment was very spacious, cleanliness was top notch and the kitchen was so well equipped. The pool was a huge hit with my granddaughter. Shops restaurants parks and beach all a short walking distance. Highly recommend for your next trip to Gold Coast. Flying in and you don't want to hire a car Catch the airport local bus outside the arrival gates and drops you right at South Broadbeach Station. 5 minute walk to Ultra front door. We will be back. Thank you.
I wanted to use it even if I go next time. Hotel facilities are substantial. The customer service attitude is very satisfactory. There were some good shops in the vicinity.
Close to the heart of Broadbeach which is such a thriving hub these days, its also right on the beach which makes it a 2 minute walk to have a swim in the ocean. There are so many restaurants at you doorstep. I recommend the coffee at the Kurrawa surf club in the early morning! Great value!

GGuest UserAfter booking a room for 1 night initially, we made a booking for an additional night both via Expedia. The recent reviews on here had me worried as they were much more positive when I made and paid for the booking. Parking - currently free but the hotel provide no detailed instructions on booking etc so I can see why people get frustrated. Thankfully a review on here gave us some tips to make our arrival smooth. I would recommend parking in tower 1 on levels 3, 3M or 4. These floors provide direct lift access to the hotel. Look for gold lifts - these indicate your attached to the hotel. Check in - the girl checking us on (Sara I think) was nice but the hotels booking system didn’t link that there were 2 separate bookings for the same person. The hotel didn’t offer us the lower standard room for the 2 nights so that we didn’t have to move. We opted to pay an additional $60 to stay in the better room for the 2 nights. Pool - is as nice as the photos although some of the cabana cushions are filthy. It is mildly heated and there were no towels, only the ones provided in your room. After house keeping we had 2 taken and only 1 replaced which made it hard to use the pool again. Food - we used Uber eats one night and ate at Harvest Buffet in the ****** on the other. The Harvest Buffet was good. We didn’t eat breakfasts at the hotel. Room - the lounge needs to go, there is no room for it and an additional luggage rack would be more practical as storage is lacking. The room would benefit from a spare pillow and blanket like nearly every other hotel we have stayed in. There are no robes or slippers provided. Gym - the gym was ok however the cable machine was broken, there were no kettlebells or spin bike. Access is via the ****** and in to another lift. Check out - we didn’t bother returning to reception, at 8am we were woken by a drill in the adjoining room/wall to us. Very unpleasant when you have an 11am check out. If we were told about the short maintenance work we wouldn’t have minded but we expect more of a hotel that is part of the Star. Would we stay again? No, it’s not the level we have come to expect as guests of the Star in Sydney.
VVacayThe building is at a good location and the view from the high floors are great. However, the place is quite worn and, such as carpets, toilets, handles, walls are very scuffed and dirty, etc. not the cleanest place too.
GGuest UserI wanted to provide some feedback regarding my recent stay and the experience I had with your trip service desk. Overall, I had a positive experience, although there were a few minor hiccups along the way. However, I must commend your team for their prompt and efficient resolution of these issues.
The trip service desk demonstrated world-class customer service. The representatives patiently and politely listened to my frustrations and concerns, and they were dedicated to finding a satisfactory resolution that would benefit both the hotel and myself. I truly appreciate their efforts in going above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction.
This level of service was truly brilliant, and I am more than happy to recommend Trip.com to anyone looking to book their next holiday, whether it be a hotel or a flight. I have experienced firsthand how Trip.com takes excellent care of their customers and their bookings. The dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable.
Thank you once again for your outstanding service. I look forward to booking my future holidays with Trip.com and enjoying the same level of care and support.
GGuest UserOn our trip to Gold Coast we booked our accommodation with Meriton a studio apartment. Upon arrival and check in we got upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment no charge, and couldn’t be happier , as their service was a friendly, fast, and professional. Our 1 bedroom apartment is amazing, featuring queen bed with t.v in room , spacious living area , kitchen, laundry and balcony with a beautiful view of the beach . The location convenience, being across the road from the casino and pacific fair , and Goya cafe downstairs for a close by breakfast before heading on your day of adventure. We’ll most definitely be checking in to Meriton in near future.
WWENRUISuper nice hotel room, large, except the floor is short, others are very good, offshore, see the sea, the room is particularly comfortable and large, the sea view is first class, there is a Chinese restaurant, supermarket nearby, eat back to the hotel fried lamb, did not understand Taxi, also called the waiter of the Chinese restaurant to help call the car, there is also a warm feeling abroad.
Stayed in the 1BR, study, ocean view. Fantastic stay. I booked direct through The Star, requested an early 11am check in and a high level and both were granted. Good amenities in the apartment, clean and quiet, comfortable bed. Ceiling fans in addition to very effective air con are fantastic for the humid summer. Stunning views over GC high rises and the ocean. Other reviews complain about lifts, I had no issue even in peak time. I used both pools - when Isoletto was crowded or I wanted to get out of the sun and chill out in a quieter place I went to the L20 pool. Gym good too, but probably could do with a few fans. My only criticism would be the blinds are not block out - the sun rises early in summer so better block out curtains/blinds would be nice to avoid a 430/5am wake up!
GGuest UserWe spent one night here, and have to say it wasn't a 5 star experience by any streech of the imagination. Our room felt stuffy and the air-conditioning didn't help. The complimentary water was the smallest I've seen. 250 ml. My wife decided to have a bath and couldn't believe there was no bath toiletries, only a solitary round bar of soap. The shower had shampoo and conditioner dispensers in a locked bracket on the wall like the ones you find in an Ibis, or a Premier Inn over in Europe. We had a pre dinner drink in the lobby lounge and when we mentioned the complimentary drink that the receptionist informed us about, the bar tender said it was limited to house wine and tap beer. So much for the pre dinner brandy and soda. Breakfast the next morning was OK but after waiting half an hour for coffee, I approached the service area to be told I should be ordering it from the table. It arrived luke warm after another 10 minutes. The hotel is well positioned but isn't a 5 star hotel.
We recently got married at the Mantra Broadbeach on the Park. We stayed in a three bedroom apartment on the 16th Floor, and the room exceeded our expectations. The view from our balcony was magnificent, and the modern clean and spacious apartment provided us with everything we needed. For our special occasion, we must say a massive thankyou to Corey the Reception Manager. He was extremely helpful from the outset, and was always on hand if we had any questions or issues. We have to say a big thank you to Corey. He put us at ease, and always had a smile on his face. We would highly recommend a stay at the Mantra Broadbeach on the Park. Great location, fantastic apartment, and lovely staff. We hope to stay there again. Thanks again. John & Gaynor.
AAlouise van sleeuwenThis is an okay place to stay. Could use a good scrub but friendly service and close to shops. Nice view and pool. Good price and facilities are acceptable
福福格格兒The location of the hotel is very good ❤️It’s convenient to go anywhere, lazily chasing a show in the room, ordering a takeaway is also very fast; going out to the largest Pacific mall in the southern hemisphere and just a few steps away (across the road); the other side leads directly to the beach and the park and scenery Excellent; there are many restaurants and supermarkets in the surrounding area. It is very comfortable to live in... I will stay next time.
