Really nice place to stay i was never bothered by anyone very private, bit cold in room but not a big deal for me .Close to everything in preston cant go wrong enjoyed my stay i will be staying here again

Check in smooth. Overall impression for the price I paid was fine. Comfy bed, tea, coffee, kettle. Cleanliness 6 out of 10. Shower was fine, 2 shabby towels (seen better days). Slept very well until 7.15 when fire alarm was set off by steam from a shower in the basement, Manager of building tried sorting problem by pushing buttons on main control unit, to no avail. Long and short of it....just over an hour later Imran rocks up to finally stop the ear piercing fire alarm. One family actually sat in their car because the alarm was so loud.

I was promised a refund by Imran over several phone calls and messages to himself and to ***********. All to find out by his ‘manager’ that they would not provide me with a refund. The manager tried to compensate by saying he would offer me a premium room. But this is not what I was promised by Imran. He also tried to pretend that he could not offer a refund under *********** T&Cs when he knew full well it was down to his discretion at this stage. So, this created stress prior to the stay, all to be extremely disappointed right at the very last minute. On the day of the stay, Imran did not reply to my messages. On arrival, the manager seemed reluctant to give us the keys to the second room and told us to not be greedy, when he was the greedy one not offering me my refund! Secondly, my friend commented on how the room stank of smoke. Thirdly, the shower pressure was wavering, and at times there would be no water coming out. Fourthly, some of the mugs for the tea were dirty and not cleaned during our stay. In fact, our room was not freshened at all. We also phoned the manager to ask where the iron was. He gave a deep sigh on the phone and then explained it to us. The manager also advised us that if anyone was locked out, he would not be coming to open the door for them. That is not a way to treat your customers, even though it is a budget hotel. I did not try the breakfast, therefore I cannot comment on it. But frankly, I wouldn’t want to eat it. In summary, I would say anyone staying here should be prepared to be lied to, with no empathy offered.

its very much as expected. A low cost room, great value. Good communication made easy access easy. The property is very close to the town centre which has plenty of options to eat and drink.

Would not stay here again. Shocking. My stay here was not the best. We were given 1 small towel between the 2 of us. The so called ‘smart TV’ couldn’t play anything but free view. No Netflix YouTube or anything like that. The toilet seat was hanging off and the floors looked as if they haven’t been hoovered in weeks. The water pressure was non existent and kept cutting out. There was also used hotel soap bars left and presented in the bathroom for us, covered in hairs
