Really a magnificent atmosphere in the middle of Umbria countryside. Definitely a place to come back and to recommend! Marco, the host, is a professional and dedicated chef oriented to customer satisfaction. Every detail is well taken care of.

Amazing place, historical beauty. Very friendly staff. In the night you can see fireflies. In addition, fishing possibility. The apartment was spacious and antique. Everything was clean. An experience in itself is to see the historical house from inside.

I spent the May 1st long weekend with my family of 5 at this beautiful property. It was a wonderful experience and definitely worth repeating. We had the honor and pleasure of meeting Marco, the owner, a truly fantastic person who pampered us and treated us like family. He cooked us exquisite dishes with attention to detail. The property is located in an enchanting place surrounded by greenery and overlooking a very suggestive lake. Warm greetings to Marco from the VOLPE family. We will see you again soon.

Having to work, in smart working, and wanting to get out of the daily routine, we wanted to find a place that would allow us to carry out our work activity but also that could somehow distract our 11 year old daughter and also us after work without moving further. Sant'Illuminato did this magic. The super comfortable and equipped apartment, the wifi essential for us, the swimming pool and the entire fantastic garden, the walks in the woods and around the lake but above all the availability, courtesy, humanity and excellent cuisine of Marco made the stay exceptional. We have been to many places and the goodbyes have always been bad but leaving Sant'Illuminato was difficult. Thanks to Marco and see you soon.

Beautiful place, wonderfully quiet! Large apartment with nice seating outside, fully equipped. Only the shower curtain in the bathroom is not our thing, but a stool as a solution to not get the curtain against you et voila, problem solved. Kitchen is dated. Marco is a fantastic host and a great cook. We have eaten there several times!! We took it easy this time and did not see/do much, so we definitely have to go back again ;)

Very nice location surrounded by greenery, overlooking the private lake. It has a small terrace where you can have both breakfast and dinner. The apartments are well finished with beautiful exposed beams. Large and comfortable rooms. The kitchen is large and stocked with everything you need, adequate bathroom. Very comfortable bed as well as pillows. The owner Marco is also the chef. Very nice is the fact that everyone eats at the same time, since the meals are cooked fresh as if you were with your family. For breakfast there is always a homemade cake/bundt cake. Perhaps a few more savory products would be good. The swimming pool is also very nice, with an elegant wooden platform that surrounds it and makes it cleaner and more usable. There is a path in the nearby woods, which leads to a small church from 1100. The efficient and friendly Mrs. Roberta, the owner's collaborator, completes the picture of the positive elements. Absolutely recommended
