I recently booked the entire building and hosted a women's retreat (9 of us in total). While I had hosted a retreat the year prior, this was the first time I was doing all the planning & organizing myself. For the entire year leading up to the retreat, Orlando was very responsive and helpful when I had questions or needed something. Once we arrived, I was reminded of the absolutely stunning view and couldn't wait for the rest of the attendees to arrive so they could see it too. Orlando and his team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our stay perfect. From daily breakfasts, lunches when needed, evening aperitivos & delicious dinners to communicating and helping with our driver, making reservations and fulfilling every request on and off the menu. They were flexible and so, so accommodating. Orlando was a huge part of me pulling off an incredible retreat. Leaving all of us to feel spoiled by the views, the food and especially the service. I hope to bring many more loved ones & host more retreats at Locanda della Picca in the future. Thank you SO much Orlando for making our stay so incredibly special. See you soon ;)

The room is spacious, the structure is overall well-kept and recently renovated. In the minibar in the room, available to guests, a liter bottle of sparkling water and one of still water (free). The windows isolate well from external noises even if the area is very quiet. Good cleaning and the bathroom was large and tidied every day. Breakfast, both sweet and savory, must be ordered the evening before by filling out a list, you will find everything on your table the next day. In this regard, I advise the owner to cover the dishes that you place on the tables while waiting for guests, they could be prey to insects. The coffee is on request and is prepared at the moment with a professional machine. The structure has a swimming pool available to guests. The sunset is beautiful, with the sun setting behind Città della Pieve. Dedicate 5 minutes of your time to it, it's worth it. Overall an excellent structure, I recommend it.
