Beautiful location, amazing service with a welcoming bunch of people. Great for a quiet stay in the wilderness and access to manageable mountain biking and hiking trails. Enjoyed the large rooms with spacious bathrooms and great views. The resident chef and his team used fresh ingredients daily in the meals served and we enjoyed grapes served straight from the farm on the property.

We stopped for 1 night as we headed north to Namibia. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Staff were extremely friendly and the food was delicious. It was the first night of our holiday and it set a high standard. The menu provided interesting options.

The super friendly staff made us feel at home. We did the town tour with Gerald who grew up in Clanwilliam and shared his knowledge of the history of the town with us. He was very patient with us two oldies. The vast rugged terrain around the hotel has its own beauty and it was very relaxing to sit and look out and listen to the birds. The staff Morne, Christiaan, Jo-jo, the chef and Rencha went out of their way to ensure our stay was the best and we felt like queens.

A sense of calm washes over you from the moment you arrive, absolutely gorgeous views over the mountains, the rooms are lovely with your own private patio, which is difficult to leave….but do try the activities that they lay on, nature walks, scenic drives etc….the staff are so friendly, you won’t want to leave!

After a warm reception by the manager Cherie we were conducted through the great premisses and the tastefully decorated interiours. Beautiful room with a great view on Cederberg ridge. A great dinner with many choices followed by a quiet sleep in a luxurious bed. Next morning a luxurious breakfast, a swim in the large pool topped by one of the possible activities. Adam showed us the impressive farming with great engagement. The un beatable hospitality of rhe managing couple convices to return. Thank you!

After a warm reception by the manager Cherie we were conducted through the well decorated luxurious interiors to our beautiful room with a great view on the Cederberg ridge. A fine swim in the large well maintained pool and shadowed pool followed. Dinner in the open of exquisite class concluded our first day. Two days followed with a great excursion to the local farm conducted by softspoken, suporting Adam. Spa treatment, fine food and good wines followed - nothing to be missed. Thank you we will be back.

We were unfortunately only two nights in this wonderful accommodation in the Cederbergs. The complex is located on a hill with a great view over Citrusdal and the mountains. The lodge leaves nothing to be desired, wonderful furnishings and top service. There are great hiking trails right outside the door. The highlight was certainly the starry night sky. We have already booked again for next year and are already looking forward to more wonderful days at Cederberg Ridge.
