A relaxing and very friendly hotel with great staff and very comfortable rooms overlooking the fiord and mountains beyond. Indoor and outdoor spas were very relaxing warm and varied. We particularly liked the outdoor pool under the ferns. Food was generally ok but should have been much better for a hotel of this quality

What a place to start our Chilean adventure. Arriving by boat to a James Bond style location was just the start. Once here we loved it. Thermal pools, kayaking, views, great food and great people looking after you.. special. Yes some tired bits here and there but dont be fooled its still heavenly. If you want an urban city break then head for new york. If you want off grid luxury this is it. Enjoy. We did

We stayed (unfortunately only) one night at the Puyuhuapi Lodge and it was a positively memorable experience! It is an experience to be picked up from the other side of the lake by boat, the building is an architectural masterpiece and our room directly facing the water was great. Yes, the buildings aren't new and have some patina, but we found it generally well maintained and tastefully decorated. We took the opportunity - despite of the grey weather - to take a swim in the indoor pool as well as a bath in the natural hot water outdoor pools - very special! We had an excellent 3 course dinner with a stunning view on water while being served in an extraordinarily friendly and competent way in the restaurant. There is a set menu with two options per course, but e.g. tasty vegetarian alternatives were created upon request. We found the dinner reasonably priced given the quality. Generally the food is high quality, also at breakfast. We liked the friendly service during transport, at reception, at the bar and especially in the restaurant. We can only recommend a stay here.

The Hotel needs an urgent structural restoration. It´s location is beautiful and the staff is helpfull. Food at the restaurant is average. The main problem is the conditions of the instalations, who seems to be forgotten in the 90´s. Also the hotel, lacks outdoor ativities.

For the price to be worth it: - the hot springs need an update (many tiles are missing and the floor/seats very slimy) - needs proper barista coffee machine in bar - dinner should be included - trails need to be maintained properly (they were grossly overgrown and many boardwalk planks were loose) - rooms could do with some more modern decor, the trend has passed On the positive though: incredible location, great service and lovely staff, the massages were seriously amazing and everything is well organized and feels very special. If all the above is sorted, this place could be close to heaven.

We really loved the hot pools, and how they blended them into the hillside. Our room was on the top floor, so the views were spectacular. All staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful, with about half speaking very good English. We just weren't super thrilled with meals. Our first breakfast seemed minimal , but the second day, it appeared that with more guests, they put out a very big buffet with many delicious selections. Dinners were ok, just not spectacular. I did a hike by myself up into the rainforest, and the lady in the activity hut was very helpful in getting me rubber boots and a hiking pole, as well as clear directions.

My parents and my uncles, 4 older adults visited the lodge from April 5 to 7. At the suggestion of the person in charge of the activities, they went trekking. During the walk, my mother suffered two falls due to lack of signage and because the path was not in adequate conditions, much less for elderly people. Not being able to continue the walk, they had to turn back scared. Another detail, the rooms do not have handrails in the bathrooms that are necessary to hold on to when entering the shower. There is also a lack of lighting in the exterior corridors to reach the feeding place in the late evening. And the worst thing is that my mother sent an email to record this situation and has not yet received any response. I leave the reservation number 5523055.
