UNCLEAN - To begin with, the corridors look like they haven’t been hoovered for months, the rooms have so much visible dust and dirt everywhere, including stains on the walls, sheets, lampshades etc. ***** found in bathtub and on spare pillows (there was three of us staying in the room and only two pillows to spare). SLOW SERVICE - The staff said they had had a busy day and were behind. Maybe just understaffed. But every-time we went to the reception there was nobody there to try and rectify our issues. One morning there was a sign saying they were helping in the restaurant, are they the cleaners too and is this why the cleaning is MINIMAL. DEAD RESTAURANT - We went on our first evening here down for the restaurant for a drink, deciding whether we would go fro breakfast in the morning. Glad we did not pay for this with the booking as we were the only ones in there. The KP was in the bar putting their hands in their mouth, along with some other unsanitary looking issues regarding the kitchen. Furthermore, the member of staff on the bar made a passing comment regarding Coke (seeming to perhaps to refer to the non liquid type). We do realise this is a relatively cheap stay but this is bare minimal expectations for anywhere you stay.

The staff were fantastic The hotel it's having work completed soon which will be a lovely edition to the hotel. One of the best premier rings I have stayed in. So much so I will go out my way to book this one.Even if it means the travel is slightly further and I pay slightly higher for my room.

We have stayed at this hotel and used it as a base for short breaks for the past few years. Unfortunately, this month’s visit was disappointing. I had read that some of the restaurants linked to Premier Inn had been closed to the public, but that was not made clear about this specific hotel. We arrived and expected to be able to go for a drink as we have done many times before. The person on reception said that the restaurant opening time was 6pm. (The signage saying cocktails from 5pm hasn’t been changed!) We then left and went to the Bees Knees instead (fully recommend) and spent our money there. And speaking to the staff there we are clearly not the first to have done this. We never eat dinner at the hotel as there’s a restaurant we enjoy visiting in the area. But when we arrived home, we saw a sign saying that the restaurant wouldn’t be open due to unforeseen circumstances. Hopefully those guests who were expecting food were happy to have McDonalds instead! The other issue was the temperature in the room. Air con is great but we shouldn’t need to rely on it overnight in the UK. The ability to open a window would be amazing. It is a decent hotel in a good location, but plan to eat and drink elsewhere!

All staff were very friendly and helpful. When I first arrived and also most times I last reception there was never anyone on it. Had to ring a buzzer to get someone and sometimes could be waiting a few minutes. The first room I got given was full of mould all in the bathroom( wasn’t just a small amount there was loads) and all the windows in the room covered in mould as well. The light didn’t work and the room smelt horrible. I went and asked to move which they didn’t have a problem with and the new room I was given was much better. I would come back again as it was perfect for getting into the town and there was macdonalds and Tesco right outside the hotel.

After a long and exhausting journey to Cirencester, my son and I were unsure if our requests and concerns had been acknowledged, since e-mail messages had not been returned. It was our pleasure to be welcomed by Liam, an outstanding representative for Premier Inn. He attentively listened to our concerns and went beyond the call of duty to accommodate our needs and set us up for a comfortable stay. What a great beginning! In fact, all the staff we met were helpful and courteous. The beds were comfortable and the location near McDonalds and the two supermarkets was ideal. We had a great stay and will be back!

Having stayed in quite a few Premier Inn’s we were slightly disappointed with this location. We only booked as an overnight stay en route to visit family. Parking was easy however there was no-one attending reception when we arrived. The check-in process was easy including the logging of car registration to avoid parking charges. Our room was ground floor which wasn’t ideal with noise from rooms above. Negatives: Only one bath towel which was remedied by reception. Dispenser in shower wasn’t working but fortunately I had taken toiletries. Lamp on desk/table broken and not working. Cobwebs and dust on wall behind bed and around ceiling area. Had to exit the hotel to get to the restaurant for breakfast. Positives: staff in restaurant friendly and welcoming. Food usual choice and quality with the cooked breakfast cooked to order. Comfortable bed with thermostat control for heating/cooling.

The visit got off to a difficult start as we'd forgotten to call and ask for rooms near each other due to travelling with a very elderly relative but the man at the desk changed our room then and there. Thanks to him and apologies to the people behind us! Then there was a problem with heating in the Accessible Room, again, sorted out by the same member of staff. I mention that not to complain but to emphasise how smoothly it was all sorted. In fact that was my overriding impression of the hotel. It's a typical Premier Inn, no different to what you'd expect. Comfortable bed, quiet, unfussy. I particularly like the extra pilows they supply and the, often, free parking. The restaurant was in a state of flux, due to changes advised in an E-Mail prior to our visit, so we had to wait a while for our meal but drinks were served promptly and the wait was by no means excessive. It was cosy and comfortable and the meal was fine. The, aforementioned, member of staff who booked us in and sorted out the heating was later to be seen helping in the bar and restaurant, alongside the extremely friendly and efficient man who took us to our table and served us, so I feel there were probably staff shortages but I was impressed by the work they were all putting in.

Was a great base for travelling around the Cotswolds was really nice and clean hotel staff were friendly and I will be staying here again only 1 thing shame it wasn’t a buffet breakfast like other premier inns you have to order the cooked food.
