Stayed here in a downstairs room behind reception for a couple of days. Despite the closeness of the main roads we couldn’t here any traffic noise from our room and had a good nights sleep. The hotel itself is a pretty standard PI. It could do with a bit of TLC and why we were there building work going on so the onsite restaurant wasn’t open. We had been told this at time of booking. The car park is free which made a change

The room was clean and comfortable. There was lots of parking and it was very easy to access local highways. It was a short walk from an Aldi for groceries. While we were there, the restaurant was under construction so we walked into Cirencester for dinner. The walk was interesting enough that we never minded it.

UNCLEAN - To begin with, the corridors look like they haven’t been hoovered for months, the rooms have so much visible dust and dirt everywhere, including stains on the walls, sheets, lampshades etc. ***** found in bathtub and on spare pillows (there was three of us staying in the room and only two pillows to spare). SLOW SERVICE - The staff said they had had a busy day and were behind. Maybe just understaffed. But every-time we went to the reception there was nobody there to try and rectify our issues. One morning there was a sign saying they were helping in the restaurant, are they the cleaners too and is this why the cleaning is MINIMAL. DEAD RESTAURANT - We went on our first evening here down for the restaurant for a drink, deciding whether we would go fro breakfast in the morning. Glad we did not pay for this with the booking as we were the only ones in there. The KP was in the bar putting their hands in their mouth, along with some other unsanitary looking issues regarding the kitchen. Furthermore, the member of staff on the bar made a passing comment regarding Coke (seeming to perhaps to refer to the non liquid type). We do realise this is a relatively cheap stay but this is bare minimal expectations for anywhere you stay.

I stayed on 2-3rd may in room 10. room had looked like it was bearly cleaned found a half eaten crossont as well as a straw wrapper and some large crumbs on the floor and under the beds kettle was full of water and not descaled which for someone who works in housekeeping this is really disappointing to see that rooms are not at the standard that they should be at.

A nicely situated inn, on the outskirts of Cirencester. Super friendly and accommodating staff. A few gripes. When we stayed, there was no breakfast service due to refurbishment. The complimentary breakfast items left out where limited, so some days there was nothing left. Next a guest decided to go through an alarm-rigged fire exit an 1:30 am, in the morning. The noise was deafening and very unpleasant. To be fair, the staff handled it very professionally but it spoilt our stay.

The staff were fantastic The hotel it's having work completed soon which will be a lovely edition to the hotel. One of the best premier rings I have stayed in. So much so I will go out my way to book this one.Even if it means the travel is slightly further and I pay slightly higher for my room.

We have stayed at this hotel and used it as a base for short breaks for the past few years. Unfortunately, this month’s visit was disappointing. I had read that some of the restaurants linked to Premier Inn had been closed to the public, but that was not made clear about this specific hotel. We arrived and expected to be able to go for a drink as we have done many times before. The person on reception said that the restaurant opening time was 6pm. (The signage saying cocktails from 5pm hasn’t been changed!) We then left and went to the Bees Knees instead (fully recommend) and spent our money there. And speaking to the staff there we are clearly not the first to have done this. We never eat dinner at the hotel as there’s a restaurant we enjoy visiting in the area. But when we arrived home, we saw a sign saying that the restaurant wouldn’t be open due to unforeseen circumstances. Hopefully those guests who were expecting food were happy to have McDonalds instead! The other issue was the temperature in the room. Air con is great but we shouldn’t need to rely on it overnight in the UK. The ability to open a window would be amazing. It is a decent hotel in a good location, but plan to eat and drink elsewhere!

All staff were very friendly and helpful. When I first arrived and also most times I last reception there was never anyone on it. Had to ring a buzzer to get someone and sometimes could be waiting a few minutes. The first room I got given was full of mould all in the bathroom( wasn’t just a small amount there was loads) and all the windows in the room covered in mould as well. The light didn’t work and the room smelt horrible. I went and asked to move which they didn’t have a problem with and the new room I was given was much better. I would come back again as it was perfect for getting into the town and there was macdonalds and Tesco right outside the hotel.
