Beautiful location, right next to a stream. Very close, short walk to the town centre. The hotel does not have parking hut directly across the road there is ample paid for (cash & app payment ). We were greeted on arrival at the reception by a friendly member of staff. She showed us to the room. The building itself is lovely, full of character and a great vibrant decor. There were lots of stairs, up and down, to get to our room which wasn’t an issue for us. The room appeared clean, and well presented. We have a small fridge, coffee machine and tv with Netflix, etc available on with your own log in. The bed/bedding was comfortable, and clean. Plenty of clothes storage, a desk, 2 nice chairs by the window and the en-suite which was also clean (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturiser all provided). We didn’t hear ich noise from other rooms or the street, it was like a lovely comfortable space to be in. The evening food, and drinks, were delicious. Seemed very fresh and cooked well. We did have to grab the waiters attention to order but they did appear to be busy, during Saturdays night rush. We went to the bar after for some live music on the piano which was lovely. Breakfast was also delicious- we had a room including breakfast which allowed for - a cold drink, a hot drink, one small plate (danish, fruit or toast), and a main breakfast dish (the shakshuka was delicious and I highly recommend, my husband said his eggs Benedict’s were also perfectly cooked). A lovely area/hotel and would highly recommend, and hopefully get to visit for longer on another visit.
