We choose this hotel based on the great experience of our friends and, also, multiple reviews from other guests. Unfortunately, not the same experience. Service was … unfriendly.. to say at least. One of the owners made us feel unwelcome from the beginning. After driving for several hours to Tuscany, last 10 min on challenging entrance road to the hotel make us completely exhausted. No welcome sympathy… just dry check in. Unfortunately, no member of staff who can speak English. Hotel is in charming, with fantastic pneumatique view but very isolated. Out of 6 days of stay, 3 days were not available for dinner. Last minute notes, means, we found out about it at the breakfast. No alternatives suggested, no other options or help to make holidays easier. Do it yourself. The dinners which we had, were very simple but very expensive. Wine list limited. Again, no suggestions or help from the staff. Nice pool. But , again , do not expect anybody to look after you: offer a drink (30 degrees outside) or just simply be interested in well-being of your guests… After few days , I just wanted to escape.. and I did .. When book you book this hotel , make sure Elisabetta will be there; without her its nightmare!!!
