We had a great time here. 4 renovated houses /parish house and school, turned into guesthouses. - rooms were pristine clean - the owners are friendly - the food is downright amazing. Yes, there is no menu, know that beforehand, do your research. That is their system. 25-27euros for a 3 couse meal. The wines are very good! - this is an establishment for a simple life, no tv. You can read in the courtyard and listen to the quiet or birds chirping. - there are a few things to do within a 20km radius. Just look them up or enjoy the nature or surrounding villages

Mediocre at best accommodations (mold in the bathroom, frayed towels, completely flat pillows) in a very sad little village with nothing to see except a small Church. The food at the restaurant was okay but the wine was likely vinegar in a wine bottle. The owner's aka; hosts, are not very friendly, and the husband is, as other's commented, downright rude. I felt, a complete waist of time...

Stayed here with a couple of colleagues. The complex consists of multiple buildings of which the old school is the main one. Restored with love. The owners and staff make you feel at home. Rooms are comfy and the food is amazingly good. You do, however, reserve dinner in advance. They offer a variety of beers and good local wines. The landlord is a historian and teacher from german descent. There is so much knowledge he likes to share, you need to stay an extra day ;-) Good experience, may consider coming back when the weather is less gloomy.

This accommodation is truly original and authentic! Historical buildings have been renovated beautifully into a guest house that offers food of amazing quality and very friendly staff. I 100% recommend this place to book if you're travelling to Transilvania. It's located in the countryside which gives you tranquility and the possibility to relax. At the same time the distances to the main tourism sites are all doable by car. The owners know a lot about the place and are happy to tell you about it. It was our first time in Romania and we ranked this as our best accommodation of the trip. If you want to participate in sustainable and small scaled tourism this is the place to be!
