The location is excellent, the first row by the lake, the surrounding restaurants are full of wine, the fly in the ointment is that there is no refrigerator in the room. It is suitable for self-driving, but the blue paid parking space is not easy to find during the peak hours of the holiday. Not to mention the white free one. When you are 400 meters away from the hotel, you will pay attention and there will be a parking space. The hotel does not have a valet parking service. Please inform the license plate number when you check in, otherwise it will fall into the forbidden zone and the ticket will be severe.

It is a very clean and pleasant place that can be walked for 10 minutes by train to the center and the employees were very sweet.

WOW - this is just the most magnificent boutique hotel and a truly exceptional position. It’s super close to the lake AND shops AND restaurants - we only had a day and a half but I would gladly come back for a few days. One of our rooms had a window view directly our over the lake (302) and the other had a little balcony that offered views of the lake. (403) . I preferred the 302 room but my daughter said that it was a bit noisy due to the stream of cars. The rooms are comfy although I always dislike the joined single beds to create a king bed with a join. I always seem to end up stuck in the join (no matter how small the crack😂) The decor of the hotel is like a plush reminder of the 1930s - I felt like George Cluney might come round a corner at any moment. The building is superb and VERY picturesque. Service has been excellent and we feel very privileged. We have just finished breakfast in the most divine outdoor setting in the hotel grounds overlooking the lake. It is a bright blue sky and the wind is calm - I don’t think life gets much better than this.. Last night we dined at Ristorante Sottovoce which was a mere 100m away and absolutely as MUST do while staying at the perfect venue. “It’s such a shame we’re only here for one night” , my wife just said. But we still have a few hours to do a guided but tour with a private captain/guide - so there is still more special-ness to enjoy.

The location is excellent, just a few meters from the coastal road. The (sportboat) port is only 200 metres away, so you can walk on the sea side to the other end of the place to take the ferry there. The hotel is conducted by two business-made ladies, who made me a stick for a single trip room 140 euros, which was clearly too much. Unfortunately, in open windows, sleep is hardly thought, because in about 30 meters away the freight trains pass, if you have the room to the wrong side. The bathroom was newly made, beautiful tiles and a modern shower. Some things, for example, that the water hanger is too close to the washing venue and you can hardly get the hand below it, you still like the Italian charm what has annoyed me: When I sticked to the door frame, I sticked my shirt to the sealing mass that no longer could be removed from the shirt. It's a fairytale! It took me a lot to decide if to take the risk to travel or not. I'm glad I did take the risk! This is the first holiday when I don't check anything about the place I was going to stay, surrounding area not at all, just wanted to escape London for a bit. From far one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The hotel looks like a museum, incredibly amazing, surprises didn't chased to happen, they have a pool, tennis court, soccer court so many facilities, it's crazy. The room I've stayed, stunning,the view from the balcony took my breath away. It's quite, it's beautiful, it's perfect! Hotel stuff, they couldn't do any better than this, friendly, willing to assist whenever necessary, I felt like home! I've even got an early check in 🤗.Thank you Domenico, Monica, Andrea, Manpreet and everyone else!!! For anyone looking to escape the madness from a busy city like London let's say, this is the best place to be! P.S. make sure you bring mosquitoes spray, as I've mentioned I haven't done any inquiries before coming so, mosquitoes attack wasn't fun at all. I was looking forward to have dinner in the outdoors restaurant which ended up being a nightmare, but it was entirely my fault, the hotel is located on a hill, surrendered by trees obviously you'll have to deal with mosquitoes. Lovely setting on lake Como. Staff was friendly and enjoyed breakfast setting. Easy walk to the Lake and many other very good restraunts. Hotel is located at 4th ferry stop from town of Como. We stayed as part of a Viking Cruise extension Vacation.. As mentioned in a few other reviews that I had read prior to arrival, the sound insulation in room is not the best but gave 5 stars as many more positive aspects to focus on at hotel. A/C worked well! comfortable. Beautiful pool over looking the lake with water access to swim. Had a Spa but did not use these services.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a memorable six night stay at Villa Flori. There’s so much to like about this hotel but the key for me is it’s lakeside position, with the road behind it, which gives uninterupted views across the lake and over to Como town. Breakfast in the garden at the water’s edge, watching the lake come to life with boats and wildlife and stunning mountainous scenery as a backdrop was a magical experience. The breakfast selection was excellent and the staff took care of every little detail to make sure our days started perfectly. Our top floor room was well laid out and comfortable with a bath and, most importantly, a balcony that gave us incredible, wide-angle, views over the lake. We enjoyed evenings just watching life go by on the water, rowers, seaplanes, birds and ferries all doing their thing as the sun set behind us. The location is superb as a base for exploring the area. Como town is 15 min walk mostly through garden parks and waterfront paths. There’s a ferry stop at Tavernola, a few mins walk north, which gives access to all the main towns and many smaller villages. You can also book a boat taxi to collect you at the hotel wharf, or travel by car, bicycle or bus. An all-round excellent hotel in unrivalled location with dedicated and professional staff. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Como (I hope we do).
