Liberty Fabay - Ultra All Inclusive

I’m unsure on where to begin………. We are a well travelled family who have stayed in many 5* resorts in different countries. Some of where we have had fantastic service and some that we felt could have done better given the status of the hotel. Liberty Fabay really surprised us and exceeded our expectation’s. This hotel caters well to families & adults only I feel! It’s a great all rounder. On arrival we were greeted with champagne, we were given a quick check in and made our way to our room. I don’t feel we got the reception we saw others get, this appeared purely because of the time of day we arrived (late at night). So we were offered champagne, but no further information other than room keys and the bellboy taking us up to our room. We were ever so grateful for our beautiful room, it was a large family room with direct access to the pool. This became our fave space to relax and let the kids play most days. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and pretty looking. The bathroom is a good size and has all the amenities you could require. We did have a day where the drainage started to block in the shower but this was quickly fixed. We had the large room, with two Josephine beds and a king bed. This was ample for us and our 8 and 10 year old. The app is fantastic and the staff do ever so well to stay on top of the guests requests. I requested extra towels most days, a second clean of the floor one afternoon (after being at the beach) and nothing was ever too much. The response to the app is fantastic and the best we have ever experienced. The food…… we never got bored of the buffet. I personally enjoyed the omelette and egg station whilst the kids loved the pancakes, crepes and waffles. We found the food to be of good quality and it was often lukewarm when we had been walking around for some time choosing what we wanted next but this wasn’t out of fault of the hotel. We loved the soufflé counter. We found the choice to be ample, even for fussy eaters. We saw a gluten free counter. We did book a few al a cartes. jet 2 gave one free al a carte and we paid for the others. In order we liked Asian most, Italian second and Indian last. This was our personal preference however we thoroughly enjoyed the meals at all restaurants. I think the prices are reasonable for what you get, it’s a bonus under 12s are free and can choose from the main menu and aren’t limited to the kids menu. We really enjoyed going to the Buddha snack bar for lunch which was all Al a carte, we preferred this to the shacks outside. The entertainment……. Just amazing! The effort that goes into this is phenomenal. There were no shows that were the same, they had specialists in their performing experience who would hold the evening shows. There is a lot of effort put into entertaining guests throughout the day and in evening. We were never bored. We dined at the Peruvian seafood restaurant Sunday evening. We were looked after by the amazing Kursat who was very attentive and provided a first class from start to finish. We had an equsite selection of starters to begin followed by the seabass paired with some lovely wine was an amazing experience from start to finish.
