An example of eclectic architecture from the beginning of the 20th century, the residence was the subject of a renovation which (fortunately) did not compromise its original opulent charm. This former private residence presents itself today as a true repertoire of twentieth-century Cuban material culture, in which interesting period pieces coexist with objects and elements (indeed a bit kitsch) dating back to the 1950s and 1980s. Although some details still need to be sorted out - in our room, for example, there was a problem with the sink - the quality of the experience is certainly positive. These "flaws", of course, are a reflection of the difficult economic situation in which the country finds itself, and certainly not of a lack of diligence on the part of the staff, who actually show commendable availability and commitment in the management of the structure. Definitely recommended.
