The location is good, but not excellent, when it comes to Cayo Guillermo. The beach at the Hotel is reasonable, you need to go a long way to get more than 1m deep. The rooms need maintenance, but the bed and air conditioning were excellent. The Hotel is All Inclusive, the food is generally good when it comes to Cuba, but I found it strange that at lunch and dinner they only offered Beer or Water to drink. Juices only for breakfast. The drinks are not good, but the beer is good. Entertainment at night is poor. But, considering that the daily rate is low, it is excellent. Don't forget to go to Playa Pilar on a calm day. Also go to the public beach of Cayo Coco, which is very cool and you can talk to the Cuban people.

Fun resort with friendly staff. Even though some things were wobbly and worn out, the atmosphere among the guests and staff was excellent.

All the pp there r amazing love the beaches planning for another trip in November again Want to go twice a year can’t wait to come back I don’t know what to say I love it there If I could live there I would the entertainment was better in October when I went but it was still good

Wow, where do I even start? The beach at this place is absolutely breathtaking. The pictures don't even do it justice. And the people who work here? Some of the friendliest folks I've met. They really go out of their way to make sure you're having a good time. Thank you guys.

Beautiful hotel full of even more beautiful people! The atmosphere was amazing from start to finish. Special shout out to Elvis, who truly went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable!! Already counting the days till I come back ❤️❤️❤️

We really enjoyed our stay. Cheap and cheerful, is how I’d describe it. We enjoyed the beautiful beach, the well maintained pool, and our ocean view room. The food was plentiful, and basic, but well prepared. The bar was well staffed and friendly. The coffee was excellent. We had two meals at the a la carte and they were tasty and a nice change from the buffet. Service was excellent. The snack bar had limited choices, as there were very few patrons at the resort, but fries, plantain chips and sandwiches made for a nice 3:30 pm snack most days. There were lots of little things that could use some improvement, but they are the result of lack of access to materials, and are not unique to this resort. If you have an easy going attitude, do not get wound up by the small stuff, and are there to enjoy the weather, the beach, the pool and the warm character of Cuba and Cubans, then do not hesitate. This place was probably amazing in its day and has the potential to be great with a lot of tlc. It is dated, and the occasional cockroach in the buffet and dirty chairs and toilet that never flushed inspite of reporting it multiple times( needed a bucket of water) and super slow a la carte service made it feel like glamping, but the staff were super friendly. At the end of the day it's not luxury but if you want a no frills place with a beautiful beach and super friendly staff this is a good spot. Elvis from the entertainment team and Raul (wait staff) as well as Carlos (customer service) really were amazing!. So all in all there is much to be fixed with this place but I am still grateful for the time here and will cherish these memories. I hear the place will undergo renovations so would like to see that

Upon arrival at Starfish Cayo Guillermo, we are always greeted by the more than friendly, kind & caring staff, with big smiles & even bigger hearts! We have travelled 5x to this exact location. The customer service staff & bell boys are incredible & helpful. Our rooms are clean. The buffet is freshly prepared & generous. All staff- The cooks, wait staff, bartenders, cleaners & gardeners aim to please all guests. Greeting everyone with a genuine smile. Starfish is our paradise, offering kite surfing, kayaking, clean prestine beaches, nightly entertainment & amazing staff on all levels! Our Home Away From Home!
