Found it easily. The staff were very helpful. The room was very clean and a good size and the bathroom was very roomy. The bed was enormous but, as is often the case, it was 2 large single pushed together and not one double mattress. However given the size of each that wasn’t too much of a problem. The room safe is not secured to a wall but screwed to a panel in the wardrobe. It could have easily been removed had anyone got into the room. Also there was no kettle in the room but that is not unusual these days. The hotel restaurant was good and well priced with a range of interesting dishes and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel was only 10 minute stroll from the final stop of the airport bus which was great.

My family LOVES Granada and any time we go to Spain, we stay at the Hotel Luna because it is normally a fantastic hotel for families. It has two pools and very comfortable beds. This time it did not live up to our expectations. When we checked in the room, the bathtub was filled with dead flies and there were flies all over the walls and ceiling. We called down to reception and their solution was to send someone up with insecticide to kill them. The cleaning crew came, sprayed a bunch of chemicals and said they would be back in a half hour to clean it again. We were told to hang out in the room until they came back. An hour later No one came. We called down to reception and they finally sent up the cleaning crew about an hour and a half later. We missed dinner with our family because we could not shower and all of us had terrible headaches from the chemicals. When we woke up in the morning, the flies were back. These were small flies that were entering through the pipes. We stayed for two nights and had to kill about 20 flies each time we needed to use the bathroom. We complained 5 times at reception and were never offered a new room or even a complimentary breakfast or parking for the inconvenience. Their reaction was simply “I’m sorry.” I do not believe we will be staying at Hotel Luna during future visits. They need an exterminator ASAP and they need to learn how to treat their customers.

I recently stayed at the Occidental Granada hotel and had a fantastic experience. First of all, the location is perfect - it's within walking distance to many of Granada's top attractions. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and my room was no exception. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping the room spotless throughout my stay. One of the things I appreciated most about my stay was the quality of sleep I got. The bed and a set of pillows were very comfortable, allowing me to get a great night's rest every night. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Occidental Granada hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay in Granada.

Escribo la opinión la tarde del 3 de octubre desde el propio hotel, ya en frio, después de la magnifica noche pasada el día 2. Estamos en la habitación 212. Desde que nos fuimos a dormir había un ruido tremendo como si cayera agua a través de la rendija de la calefacción y el aire acondicionado que da a la habitación. Después de aguantar más de lo previsto, grave error el nuestro, a medianoche llamamos a recepción para que subiera alguien y comprobara que efectivamente así no se podía dormir. La sorpresa fue cuando el recepcionista dijo que no iba a subir, que no podía, que había mucho trasiego (¿en el.hotel en Granada a las 4 de la mañana?) y que ya al día siguiente se veria. La traduccion que cada uno saque la suya. La nuestra es ”paso de vosotros, si no podéis dormir no es mi problema”. La pena es que no pudimos dormir y, por extensión, tampoco los vecinos de las habitaciones de al lado que escucharon nuestro pesar y los llantos de un bebé que tampoco pudo dormir. Es cierto que una avería en una tubería puede ocurrir, son cosas que pasan y hay que ser comprensivo, pero desde luego el cliente no tiene la culpa. No se puede tolerar un trato así, con esa indiferencia, cuando encima estas pagando una pasta. El hotel está céntrico, eso está bien, pero como tengan un problema no esperen solución. En el colmo de la mala suerte la primera noche, la del viernes 1 de octubre, las dos mesillas al apagar todas las luces se quedaban latentes. No se apagaban. Ahí sí que llamamos y el recepcionista, un hombre más mayor, subió a las doce de la noche, abrió los cajetines de los interruptores y lo arregló quitando unos fusibles que no tenían que estar. Lo mejor fue la solución que nos dieron al principio. Retiren la tarjeta de la corriente, y así nos quedamos sin luz en toda la habitación, o aflojen las bombillas. Tras insistir, se reparó por parte del recepcionista siguiendo los consejos por videollamada del señor de mantenimiento. Dentro de la chapuza las dos caras de la moneda. El que tiene interés por el cliente y el que no. Yo, desde luego, no lo recomiendo. Por la zona tienen hoteles similares y seguro que mejores. Desde luego a familiares y amigos, gente que aprecio, no lo recomendaría.

We lazen dat er beperkte parkeermogelijkheden zijn bij het hotel zelf en de parkeerplaatsen kosten 24 euro per nacht. Voor een of twee nachten is dit geen probleem, maar we verblijven 11 dagen dus we kozen ervoor om de nabij gelegen te gebruiken. Om daar vervolgens te komen is ern hell of a job. Granada blinkt niet uit in autovriendelijkheid. Uiteindelijk lukt het en voor € 80,- zijn we klaar. Het hotel oogt verzorgt en redelijk modern. Personeel is vriendelijk, kamers mooi en schoon. Koffie en thee op de kamer wordt iedere dag aangevuld. We krijgen bon voor spa. Deze moeten we nog benutten. We hebben alleen logies, maar de cafetaria bij het hotel ziet er leuk uit en de prijs van de consumpties is redelijk. Het hotel ligt op een te behappen loopafstand van het centrum. Met 20 minuten sta je bij de kathedraal. Voor het openbaar vervoer moet je eerst het grote plein voor het hotel oversteken.
