The resort is very nice, great location. The service was great, we got tea set with cookies and fruit every afternoon to enjoy afternoon tea. Our cleaning lady Hu Quan Juan was very nice, smiling all the time. The breakfast was good, we enjoyed the variety of different dishes and really good coffee (not everywhere available). All in all we would love to stay there again!

I traveled to Qiandao Lake in late August and chose two hotels that were highly recommended. I had high expectations for Minghao and specially arranged to stay in the second one. The result was quite different from what I imagined. First of all, I was very satisfied with the room hygiene and facilities. It is a newly opened hotel. The sanitary napkins and shower room are separated, and the constant temperature shower is good. What I was not satisfied with was that the balcony of the third-floor room was blocked by a half-person-high wall, and the lake could not be seen from the house. Even now, the balcony is not high enough and is blocked by trees, so the view is not wide. It is recommended to choose rooms on the fourth floor and above. On the morning of the check-in day, the housekeeper called and added WeChat, and sent the arrangement of special summer activities and the business hours of various facilities. The content looked rich and colorful, but it was actually very special. Most of the parent-child activities were set up in a booth in the lobby. No one organized it, and no children participated. The form was greater than the content. The outdoor swimming pool that I was looking forward to was far away from the hotel lobby and could not be accessed indoors. It took a long time to walk under the scorching sun. The road was not separated by people and cars, which was very inconvenient, and it was only open in the afternoon. Some vouchers were given upon check-in, but they all have thresholds. The two free ice cream coupons also have a time limit. I didn't have time to use them in the end. I blame myself for not seeing the activity time clearly. The main playground is not as big as I imagined. I personally think it is less than 3,000 square meters, but it is enough to play. Many areas in it have empty shelves, the carousel is not always open, and the ground in the overall walking area is really hard. Five apples were given as souvenirs when I checked out. The attitude of the hotel staff is also very good, but there is always a feeling of being forced to operate, and I can't feel it from the heart. The overall feeling is that they want to build a high-end hotel, but they only achieve the form, not the spirit. It is not recommended for vacation.

As a base for sightseeing around Qiandao Lake, I think the location is good as it is close to the bus stop from Qiandao Lake Station and also close to the sightseeing boat pier. However, there are only restaurants that mainly serve fish dishes around the hotel, no restaurants serving noodles or other dishes, and no supermarkets, so I felt it was inconvenient for shopping. The hotel sold instant noodles for 5 RMB, which was helpful. Breakfast was buffet style and the taste was average, but I was happy that they provided hot coffee. Across the road is a tunnel theme park called the Time Tunnel, and you can purchase tickets at a discount from the hotel. (98 RMB to 80 RMB)

The housekeeper took it to the door of the mansion, and the lantern with the owner's surname 🏮 restored the culture of the wealthy folk houses in Wenyuan Lion City to the extreme, and the stay experience was instantly enhanced. The Hui-style courtyard of Xin'an Garden, where I stayed this time, adopts a three-entry design. The first entrance uses a traditional key to open the door to see the outdoor courtyard. The second entrance is the indoor living hall, and the third entrance is the second-floor bedroom. The traditional wooden house style design instantly brings an immersive Jiangnan vacation experience. The bathroom is large and equipped with a double basin design and a deep soaking bathtub. At a time when cost control of toiletries is popular, it is still adhering to the original intention of using more hygienic small bottles. You can enjoy the hotel's fitness facilities, tour the replica of the ancient city and perform all day. If it weren't for the lack of privacy in the ancient city, it would be a substitute for Amman or Ritz-Carlton Hidden Resort, but the room rate may be only 10% of theirs, how cost-effective it is. In terms of service, three of us checked in, and the front desk took the initiative to arrange for additional quilts and toiletries, greeted us with a smile throughout the whole process, and guided us to introduce the hotel facilities and how to use them, which was very professional. The only two weaknesses are that the quality of the hotel's catering has a lot of room for improvement. During the New Year, the Chinese restaurant only has set meals available and the price of the dishes has increased a lot. The quality of the breakfast ingredients in the buffet restaurant is too low, which is not in line with the hotel's positioning. The swimming pool opens too late, and I hope it will be improved.
