Location (in terms of proximity to the lake) is great if you want to stay in and enjoy the lake view, hang out by the shore, etc. because this hotel has many nice spots, and you can see the sunset. However, it's far from downtown, you'd have to taxi back and forth, anyway it is very easy to get taxis.
Service was good, the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet was also good, plenty of options.

Unfortunately there are not many activities around, the hotel could propose some kayaks. We asked for indications, the hotel staff was friendly but we were send to an horrible thematic park with a supposed "light house" that looked made of carton. The lake is beautiful, it's a shame that you don't have many activities. Oh and actually the hotel didn't had a swimming pool, it was from another hotel nearby (you needed to pay).

The surroundings of the hotel is very beautiful. There is a small coffee shop and a restaurant just facing the lake.
The rooms were nice and big but with a strong smell of dust and cold cigarette smell in the carpets and curtains…
Good options for the breakfast. Coffee and tea is served.

Globally nice and quiet hotel. We loved the decoration and several little living rooms with confortable sofas. The room was ok with nice view on the lake.
The hotel is located on a little island in front of the main city, so it is quiet. But there is not a lot to do around. Only another hotel close by with an indoor swimming pool (appreciated on rainy days).

A very pleasant stay in a romantic surrounding. I loved this modern hotel and its cool decor. Nice view from the window, delicious coffee, comfottable bed, friendly and helpful staff.

Avoid holidays and send the elderly at home to Qiandao Lake for recuperation. Among the many hotels in Qiandao Lake, I chose Wenxin Island Zhiya, which has a good location and scenery. The hotel staff is enthusiastic and responsive. The hotel has its own Chinese restaurant on the first floor. The dishes are affordable and the portions are large.
Next to the hotel is another popular check-in spot, Sunset Coffee. Those who like to take pictures and drink coffee are recommended to stay in Wenxin Island.
Zhiya Hotel opened earlier. It is considered an old brand in Qiandao Lake. The overall facilities and equipment are relatively old. But the overall service level can make up for the shortcomings of the hardware. Especially for some needs of the elderly during their stay. It can still be handled very well.

What you see is what you get in the room, with a beautiful lake view. I feel like I can stay on the balcony all day. There is a shuttle bus a little way from the parking lot to the hotel.
