We went in January and there was a storm. The road into the hotel is one lane, unable to pass, rather steep. If there are cars going up or down, it's dangerous. Parking space is very limited because it is at the foot of a mountain next to the sea. The accommodation is beautiful. On the day I went, the air conditioner broke, but the staff changed the room. I was very lucky that there was a room available. The staff are very cute. Very helpful. The number of rooms is not many. I like it. It's not crowded. The view is beautiful.

Amazing

It's quite unexpected to find such a hotel in Chumphon. The room facilities are very new, the infinity pool is very clean, and the large private beach will not be disturbed at all. If you have enough time, you can also go diving on the four islands opposite, which are very close.

It's okay. The road into the hotel is a bit scary and the signs are unclear.

Excellent hotel. Beautiful pool, everything is clean and well maintained. We lived in a villa. Gorgeous private beach, delicious cuisine, super people. We were passing through and stopped for the night, but there was a desire to stay for a couple of days to relax in peace and quiet.

All objective reviews should be based on some calculation of value. The hotel is a nice property. The food is average at very best. Overall service isn't special by Thai boutique resort standards. Our room (called a villa) was pretty spacious. The room didn't really have any furniture as such. Instead, couches and tables built of concrete blocks, skim coated, painted and cushions or table top added etc. Very practical, but not furnished in a traditional sense. Some construction project was in progress, resulting in restaurant sea view being blocked. Overall property was clean and orderly. Pool/beach towels were tiny and seemed to be made of some material that absorbs no water. Guests should have some way of rinsing feet on returning from beach. Large containers near steps were probably intended to hold water for that purpose. But dry. This was not a great value and I'm being a little generous with three stars. Owner/management should adjust the prices down to begin to approach a reasonable value proposition.. Also, have a talk with the staff, see if their focus could be improved.

Blown away by the beauty of this little hidden gem - did not expect to see this kind of pristine beach in Chumphon, felt like we're somewhere on the island. The rooms are very pretty, spacious and clean, staff is super helpful, food is great, both Thai and western items were amazing! Try chef's chicken quesadilla - delicious!

Our villa was really correct except the following points. It communicated with 2 others through double thin doors. Consequently, we heard everything that was said next… The bed is located in the middle of the room which is nice but there is no bedside table, no bedside lamp and no power sockets nearby. Altogether, there are 3 power sockets for the whole wide room, none of them in the bathroom. The wifi was very poor, whatever our location inside the resort. So is the internet network, sometimes one get 4G, some other times 3G only and … nothing happens. The cleanliness is correct but the villa lacks technical maintenance and, as it is aging, deserves to be renovated to suit today's tastes and lifestyle. The staff was very friendly. It is not easy to eat in a restaurant other than the one of the hotel because it is located far away from everything. Know that although the food is good, the service is very long, abnormally long even with a dining room that was far from being full ( we waited 1 hour 15 mn between the ordering time and the time the dishes arrive ) No espresso machine so for breakfast… only instant coffee.

This should have been perfect. Truly stunning views, beautiful room (advertised as a beachfront villa - it's an ensuite room) on the beach, just paradise. Beautiful tropical hideaway. That may be enough for most - and why not? But for £125 per night you do expect a high level of service. That's where this place falls apart. Most things on the menu are not available. They only had one bottle of Chardonnay, nothing else. No red wine. No Gin available, and the list goes on. Same with the food. What was available was never quite what was described, poorly cooked. At breakfast, I asked for orange juice. The reply was "No, sorry". As the only place to eat in the middle of nowhere, they have a monopoly and I think they know that. "You're here for the view, right?" No, for what I am paying I also want good food and good service. But we persevered, in paradise you can just about find something to eat and drink to keep you happy. But the problems continued. No-one speaks English, the service was by the far the worst we had experienced anywhere in Thailand. If you want to complain, you can't because they either don't understand you or they pretend not to understand you. Cheap towels at the pool, no service around the pool area. The room had an adjoining door to the next "villa" so you need to be lucky with the neighbours you have. We weren't. Had to sleep with earphones on to muffle the noise of the child next door watching TV until midnight. The room was beautifully done, modern and clean. The main bar and surrounding buildings were old and tired, loose floorboards, rusting paintwork. Beautiful setting. Lovely room. But best to avoid this place!

Nice hidden resort in Chumpon with a private beach access. Staff is so friendly and trying to take care of all requests. I do recommend to book beachfront villa, the view is stunning. Overall vibes are great for holiday. Breakfast is excellent. It is good place to stop for anytime in Chumpon

Lovely resort but very expensive for Thailand. Only a 3 star. Rooms big and clean. Swimming pool good but not cleaned too often. Beach clean but only because of the hotel staff either side dirty and full of rubbish. Few local bars and restaurants within walking distance on the beach not on the road too far. Breakfast good if a la carte but if busy they have a buffet which is not as good. No sunbeds on the beach. Food and drink expensive.
