After the store found out that there was no room available, they proactively sent a lot of messages, but Ctrip didn't convey it to them. All I received here were Ctrip’s booking success notifications and check-in reminders. After reporting the problem to Ctrip, a small portion of the price difference was refunded, and that was it.
