This hotel was amazing! Every aspect was built with comfort, beauty and relaxation in mind. The setting of the hotel is in the perfect spot right on the river and surrounded by towering mountains.They should add ”resort” to the name. The room was plush and spacious with a great view of both river and mountains. The infinity pool is amazing and built for relaxation. It has comfortable cabana style lounge chairs literally in the pool. The staff is very attentive and met every need. They also provide shuttle service to the river rafting starting point and provide bicycles for riding around the countryside. (The hotel is also the end point of the river rafting trip.) The only downside is that the hotel is difficult to get to. Apparently there are plans to make this town into a tourist destination. Most of the major roads were torn up and the facades of most buildings are under construction. Even with that, being at the resort makes all that irrelevant. If you need a place to wash all your stress away, this is the perfect place. If I had one recommendation, it would be to think about foreign guests in terms of adult beverages. There is a beautiful bar right next to the pool... but one doesn't want tea while at the pool. Everything else about this hotel is perfect.

With the current travel restrictions we were nervous we’d not be allowed into the province and the hotel staff were helpful getting us the information we needed to enter the county and final arrive at their hotel. We felt taken care of and they arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport. They greeted us with smiles, the housekeeper left fruits and a nice hand written note, and the front desk did their best to make our stay a comfortable one. We were traveling with our toddler and the food options were delicious and affordable. We want to say thank you to Chen Kai for going out of his way to make us feel special and welcomed. He speaks English and made many great suggestions regarding travel, activities, and calling the hospitals to see where we could get our nucleic test. The space is surrounded my mountains and it’s green everywhere you look. You can take a boat ride along the river located just in front of the property. Currently there is construction on one side, they are expanding the facilities. The whole space is nice as worth a visit. We didn’t give a 5 for amenities because we felt it could have catered more to families.

We had a great stay and were received exceptionally by the ladies at reception. A very stylish and comfortable place sat amongst breathtaking low-lying rice paddies. I stayed here for 2 nights and it was exactly what I was looking for. My room had a panoramic window view of the mountains outside, and the hotel roof terrace is really nice too! Clean bathroom and western toilet. It was a great location for the Mingshi Scenic Area, and about 45 min drive from the Detian Waterfall area. The hotel helped me arrange a driver to take me to Detian and were very friendly. There are several local restaurants around to eat at, plus a Vietnamese coffee shop just 5 minutes walk away. Only downside is the walls are pretty thin and you can hear other people. But overall, it was clean, a good price, and convenient for my travels in Mingshi.
