Ancient Rhyme Homestay

It is a self-service Airbnb style homestay. You need to add their wechat to gain access code to your room. There is no reception area. Service is not bad per se, there is just no service at all. We asked them for restaurant recommendations, they told us to just walk around and look for one. But it is really cheap and you can’t really expect much. The room is clean enough, it was just a sleepover for us so we didn’t care too much about amenities. Although there was a slight musky smell in the room, that was unpleasant. We got the room with a balcony but it turned out to be really cold and not isolated, so we were shivering in bed lol. The location in right in the middle of the ancient town which was a really cute area to walk around, although it was deserted and looked like a ghost town. 90% of the restaurants were shuttered, we were the only tourists walking around, literally.
