Hotels in Nanbin Road/Danzishi, Chongqing

We stayed here for 2 nights and, although the location and the staff were nice, the place is not as pictured in the images. The pool had several cracks in the glass, which made it look not too safe. And the ethereal, instagrammable and clean look of the advertised images was an illusion we didn’t get to experience ourselves. One could argue that the white-ish furniture is difficult to maintain without stains, but the issue is there were clear signs of lazy cleaning, dust, and easy-to-remove stains. All in all, I still think the price is not crazy thanks to the location and the staff, but they can improve.

Wonderful stay! The hotel is right in the middle of Jiefangbei and is walking distance to major attractions including Jiefangbei/People's liberation square, Hongya cave, Raffles city/Chaotianmen for the drone show and the metro line 1 & 6. There are a huge number of eateries nearby including Jiefangbei pedestrian street. The room size is huge and I had a view of the river. The check-in is on the ground floor entrance and they also have a reception area on the 20th floor where you can go for giving laundry etc. The staff at both receptions were amazing and always ready to help and answer any questions even those unrelated to the hotel. 5 stars to them. The laundry service was excellent with same day delivery. The rooms were quiet unless someone in the corridor talks very loudly. The cleaning service was also great. The elevators (3) would take some time as there are 29 floors but mostly only a 2-3 minute wait. The tours that I took seem to know the hotel and picked me up from the hotel and the hotel shows up on Amap and Didi. All in all, would highly recommend staying here.

One of the best hotels to stay in. The metro station is just around 1 minute walk from the hotel and the staff is the loveliest staff I met, so down to earth to help you with anything you need. The location is perfect close to every tourist attraction and the pedestrian square street is just 3 minute walk from the hotel

I also chose Xiyuan after reading everyone's comments. Let me tell you about my feelings. The homestay is right in the Xiahaoli scenic area. The small courtyard at the door faces the river view. The scenery is really amazing. It is close to the light rail and convenient for travel. The breakfast is amazing and tastes great. Now I will focus on the service. Because it is close to the light rail station, the vibration sound is loud every time I pass by. Secondly, next to the folk custom is a bar with a scattered table outside the window of the bar. Alcohol makes people excited and the atmosphere may be added. The guests in the bar are loud. Finally, I made it through the closing time. There was an airplane flight path diagonally above my head. The roar of each plane passing by was unbearable, and it was torture for light sleepers. I contacted the boss early the next morning. The boss and the housekeeper kept apologizing and immediately contacted the scenic area management committee. There was no noise from the bar next door that night. They also brought me Tremella soothing soup, eye masks and earplugs. I slept well the second night. The scenic area is full of small paths, and the butler helped carry the luggage throughout the journey.

A very nice affordable apartment hotel. We stayed in the 2 bed 1 bath unit. We stayed 3 nights. First, you will need to add their WeChat (which everyone needs in China). From then onwards, instructions / communications are clear although all in Chinese (not an issue since WeChat can auto translate). When you arrive, a contact person will pick you up from lobby (2nd floor) to bring you to the hotel lobby on the 4th floor. Highly commend the responsiveness of their communications via WeChat. They provide a lot of recommendations for food (breakfast, lunch, dinner and even coffee places). Always ready to help, even past midnight. One of the most personalised “concierge” experience with a lot of greetings. Washing machine was clean, which we used throughout our stay. Spacious and comfortable. Instead of tv, unit has a projector. Unit was cleaned every day (they would ask before they clean). Overall a very pleasant stay with highly attentive / personalised service. Would love to stay again!

My overall experience was truly exceptional – I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit! The room was clean and comfortable, with incredibly soft and cozy bedding that made it impossible to get out of bed once I'd settled in. The staff were warm and attentive, incredibly patient and thorough whether I was checking in or asking for local recommendations. The location is also incredibly convenient, just a short walk to nearby restaurants and attractions. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, truly energizing me for the day ahead. In summary, this was a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it!

The location is excellent, very close to the main attractions and easy to get around, which made exploring the city super convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and modern, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and give recommendations. What I enjoyed most was the overall vibe: quiet and relaxing inside the hotel, but just a short walk from the busy streets and great food spots. It felt like the perfect balance between comfort and accessibility. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Chongqing. It’s a great base to explore the city, and I’d happily stay here again.

This hotel is so close to every place that we go.Can go for a traveling and recommend ears for those can go business or traveling.Stay here for a long time . Around here has a lot of food places. A little near to jiefangbei. Especially, it's a stuff. They are so friendly, they had me everything that I need.

It was a very good stay. The hotel has free airport pick-up and drop-off service. When we arrived at the airport, a driver was contacted to take us directly to the hotel entrance. When we got off the car at the hotel, the housekeeper helped us with the luggage. The service was super good. The hotel facilities are very complete, including a swimming pool, a tea room and a rooftop viewing terrace. On Saturdays or holidays, you can also see drone performances on the opposite river. The most noteworthy thing is that breakfast is delivered directly to the room, and there are also a variety of staple foods for us to choose from, as well as afternoon tea and good night sweet soup, etc. The hotel hygiene and service are super nice!!

Hotel is at level 9 of the building, there are other hotel sharing the same building with 4 lifts to share. The front desk girl serve you almost 24 hours, and she take care of everything for you even we are late pass midnight. There are 2 washing machine to share, but only one machine with dryer and took almost 3 hours to dry. There are many food and shopping opposite the building, and many tour agencies for booking for local tours outside the city, which is a must for sightseeing. For city tour, could just take a train (MRT) or walk around, and do not answer to any sales person outside the hotel building, they would follow you wherever you goes till we have to hide in shopping mall.
