There are many restaurants next to the downstairs. I went to a newly opened skewers. It tasted very good. I will choose this one next time.

She even offered me a complimentary upgrade to a room with a stunning city view, which was a delightful surprise. The room itself was impeccably clean and spacious, featuring all the amenities one could hope for in a luxury hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with high-quality linens that ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathroom was equally impressive, with top-notch toiletries and a rain shower that was pure bliss. The hotel's location is simply unbeatable. It's within walking distance of many popular attractions, yet it's also tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. But what truly sets Hotel Wan Yao apart is the level of personalized service provided by the staff. Everyone, from the bellhops to the concierge, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as enjoyable as possible. I felt truly valued as a guest, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my experience. In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Wan Yao was nothing short of exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and hassle-free getaway. I can't wait to return in the future!

On the last day of 2024, I came to Chongqing with my girlfriend for a trip. In the end, I chose a place close to Jiefangbei, because I was going to Jiefangbei to celebrate the New Year with my girlfriend at night. The cost performance of this hotel near Jiefangbei is quite high. It is also a newly opened hotel. When I checked in at the hotel, Charon's service attitude was particularly good. I asked a lot of questions about the time and route to the airport, when to leave, nearby attractions, and where the hot pot was delicious. Charon was very patient and told us one by one that breakfast was available until ten o'clock, which was more friendly to those of us who got up late. The breakfast variety was okay, quite satisfactory, with both Chinese and Western types. I came back in the middle of the night and ordered takeout. There was a small robot that could deliver it directly to the room, which was quite convenient. Some hotels at this price had to go down and get it by themselves. I just checked in and spilled the mineral water on the floor. I called the front desk and told her about it. The room auntie came over to help clean up immediately. She was very enthusiastic. All the hardware of the newly opened hotel was sufficient and very new. The hotel did a great job in both soft service and hardware. Chongqing was great as the last stop of my New Year's travel. If I have the opportunity in the future, I will definitely stay here again! Recommended! ~

The hotel is newly upgraded, the rooms are spacious, bright and clean, dry and wet partitions, and there are small refrigerators and safes. The hotel staff is warm and thoughtful and patient, and will take the initiative to arrange the room according to our floor location preferences. The hotel has a laundry room for self-washing and drying. The surrounding dining and shopping facilities are complete, the subway station is very close, and it takes 3~5 minutes to arrive. It is convenient to go directly to the Jiefangbei business district. It is also very convenient to take a taxi at the door. It is worth living here to enjoy high-quality rooms and services. The buffet breakfast on the first floor is also delicious, the steaming Chongqing noodles are delicious, praise! There is also free parking space on the second floor of the hotel, the first choice for self-driving tours.

I originally thought that such a cheap hotel would be in a corner of the place, but I was really surprised when I went there. The environment is not only very grand, but it still has the appearance that it should have. It doesn't look like a small hotel. Still very clean and decent. The main entrance is the subway station, which saves a lot of time. It feels like a great deal for a hotel room worth over 100 yuan. I picked up Paihuo, and they don’t have any charges. My friends and I took half a box of mineral water in one night and they didn’t even charge us, and they gave us a delayed refund. Room. A simple encounter really gave me a big surprise.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful surroundings. The rooms are comfortable. There is a small refrigerator, a small towel, and a safe in the room. The lobby is spacious and bright 😋 Next to it is a hot spring. I choose this hotel every time I come here. It is also close to the scenic spot. Overall, as stated by many other reviews, this hotel is the value-for-money champion. Personally, I would rate if a hotel were a real five star hotel or simply a 'self-proclaimed' five star hotel based on the service rendered. Le Meridien Chongqing excelled in this aspect. Every staff member I had interacted with was friendly and warm. Check-in: Was swift and unlike many chinese hotels which are distrusting of their customers, they did not ask for a deposit. Saves the hassle. Room: It was spacious, I had previously read some other reviews which complained about the red cupboard at the entrance was terrifying, but personally I liked the chinese style decor. The aircon was slightly noisy and not the most effective, but I liked sleeping in a slightly cooler room. The bed was comfortable, although one side seemed to be more 'slept in' than the other, possibly a sign of the hotel's age. I did also notice some stains and wear and tear in the room but it was nothing serious so I will let that slide. The greatest sign of wear and tear is the shower head, which although was Hansgrohe branded, felt like it was about to break when I tried to change the shower mode. Toiletries were from the Malin+Goetz brand, which I really liked! But of course, ThisWorks branded ones used by Marriott hotels are slightly better. Facilities: There was an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym- with a smith machine, something that is not available in some 5 star hotels. Impressive! Breakfast: This was the greatest let down in the stay experience. As I was going up the lift, I noticed a sign stating that breakfast was on promotion at 68RMB per person. That could not mean anything good. The breakfast experience was cut to the bone. There were almost no hot cooked food options, except from basics such as eggs, toast, cooked chongqing noodles(plain) and dumplings. There is simply no way that this acceptable as a 5 star hotel breakfast, something that seems to be mentioned by other reviewers. Other hotel restaurants- Not too sure why I bothered to try out the other hotel restaurants after the disappointing breakfast but, the chinese restaurant served food that was tasty, but the so-called ala-carte buffet was not great. The food options seemed like leftovers from another hotel buffet or something, and I counted a total of 5 pieces of beef when I ordered the dish 'black pepper beef'. Service was good and seemed well-intentioned though, although they seemed puzzled that I was not ordering more-- The food was not good! Location: Located in Nan'an, I had chosen this hotel as it offered better value for money than its 5 star competitors in JieFangBei or the Conrad. It was also located in front of a Rail Transit station although I only used it once since the trains were crowded and it was quicker to grab a DiDi around. I think the biggest plus regarding its location is the adjacent Wanda Plaza, which had everything from a Sephora, Uniqlo and many other shops. I regretted not visiting it first before hopping on the train. To summarise, I would recommend a first time visitor to Chongqing to stay in this hotel, but would I visit it again? Perhaps not, as I would like to try out other options in Chongqing that are newer, and can provide better breakfasts.
