Chongqing Shapingba District Hotels

Worth the money, room is spacious and quite clean. However amenities inside the room were a bit of an issue. Booked a 4-pax capacity room but only 1 small toilet roll was given, which quickly depleted. Had to ask multiple times, and one time the cleaning lady said she will give one when the current one runs out (we clearly know it’s not enough). Refrigerator is not cold at all. Toilet space reeks bad smell the whole time probably from the drain. Some noise can be heard from neighboring rooms. Those aside, amenities are quite complete and service was good. Do note that location is quite far from major tourist areas, around 30 minutes+ with taxi. But it is close to Ciqigou Ancient Town and it’s right above Shapingba station, which was very convenient for our inter-city travels.

I just finished a few days of Chongqing. I like Chongqing's history, Chongqing food, and Chongqing people. I didn't expect that the experience of staying in a hotel I chose at random would be so great. From the moment I checked in, I received meticulous care from the hotel staff. The hotel is conveniently located, has a wide variety of breakfasts, and meticulous room service. The weather has been good recently, so it's a great choice to go anywhere. The hotel facilities are also very complete and the breakfast category is very rich. I recommend it!

The room was impeccably clean; I felt perfectly comfortable walking barefoot on the floor. What I loved most were the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. As dusk settled, I could brew a cup of complimentary freshly ground coffee, sit by the window, and take in the dazzling panoramic night view of Chongqing. It was incredibly therapeutic! The breakfast spread was simply spectacular, with everything from local Chongqing noodles to Western pastries, and every dish tasted incredibly authentic. The attention to detail in service was impeccable, and it offered fantastic value for money. Absolutely the perfect choice for a stay in Chongqing!

My stay here was truly a fantastic experience! The room was incredibly bright and airy, with a fantastic open view from the window that instantly brightened my mood as I looked out at the distant landscape. The hallways were spacious and immaculate, and the ample lighting made me feel completely safe walking around at night. I was particularly impressed by the room's sleek and modern design. Overall, the place felt both comfortable and secure, and I'll definitely be back for another stay!

It was 4 o'clock in the morning when we arrived, and the reservation time had not yet arrived, but the same model was fully booked, so we were given a high-end room to rest first. Walking distance from High Speed Rail station. Same building hosts 2 different hotel receptions - good to be aware of its Chinese name - 麗枫酒店 (重庆西站站前广场店). Need to walk to ride-hailing spot at Chongqing West Railway Station for DiDi - follow the directions at the station.

Hotel is located 5mins distance away from railway station by walking, super convenient to catch morning train, plus there’s speed train connected frm airport. Hotel is clean.

Facilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive, featuring a smart speaker and smart home amenities. Cleanliness: The room's cleanliness was just okay. The teacups weren't properly washed and still had tea stains. Environment: The facilities are a bit dated. The hotel is located within an office building, and the property management and surrounding area felt quite disorganized. However, the view outside the window was pleasant. Service: The service was quite good. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and enthusiastic. Additionally, the tea table and sofa in the room were not optimally arranged, making it difficult to plug in a laptop for work. I hope this can be improved.

Opened in 2025, best railway hotel I have come across, literall onsite, reasonable price, v good servi e.I arrived w my wheelchair, & front desk upgraded me to a bigger room. Plenty ofnoodle shops, fast food, convenient stores next to hotel.
