Chongqing Indition High Altitude Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Chongqing; the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. Wenwen and Juju were especially helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Whenever I sent a written question, the team replied almost immediately with clear and detailed information. Their outstanding service and genuine kindness made my trip much more enjoyable, and I would gladly stay here again.

We had an amazing stay in 270 degrees duplex with spectacular views. The room has an oversize bathtub perfect to relax during the evening. The housekeeper and and concierge were very responsive and the room cleaness was 10/10. Many thanks to Jingjing and Xiaowen. Great service. I can totally recommended the stay in this hotel :)

beautiful hotel with amazing staff. they are very helpful, going above and beyond and even helping us order food through an app themselves as chinese phone number is needed. the view is amazing and it's nice to rest in the tub after a long day of walking through the hills and levels and stairs of chongqing. thank you to our staff, tangtang and xiaowu! and everyone at the reception desk. the projector in the room is a nice touch too :)

The staff at Indition Hotel are superb! They are very keen to make your stay comfortable, attending to your needs immediately, and even giving u updates on the weather conditions first thing in the mornings! Special mention to Jing Jing, Wen Wen & Yan Yan for their attentiveness. It is in a great location, just across the street from raffles city. Views on the 38th floor is stunning. The hotel room however needs some proper touch ups. The workmanship of the room is poor, the floor tiles in the shower area are popping out, the silicone on the taps badly plastered. It definitely looks like a cheap job by the contractors. It is a pity that with great staff and good views & location, the price is not what is to be expected - the poor workmanship of the room. The shampoo and shower gel could be better quality too.Otherwise it will be perfect.

Anyone looking at his hotel rooms because of their viral content and infinity pools, don’t be fooled. Read my review on the 270° River-View, Starry Sky Pool Duplex Suite first. Listen. Listen to me. It’s imperative you understand that the in the room ‘pool’ is nothing more than a tepid container of frigid water, smelling harshly of antiseptic and permanently at 75 degrees F. You cannot heat the pool, but you technically could go INTO the pool. Even if you enjoy polar plunges, you probably wouldn’t want to, because there is a clear layer of suspicious film on the top. You also cannot go into the hotel pool, because there isn’t one, there is a shallow fountain of which you also wouldn’t want to swim in. Tik tok won’t tell you this, but I will, and I promise you it’s not worth $300 USD. The room and hotel is an illusion of mirrors- literally- because everything NOT a mirror is badly glued together and gathering dust where no one has bothered to move the couch or nightstands. The view IS the only highlight of the hotel. You can see every corner of the great value Marina Bay Sands from all angles. Is it worth 300 USD? Considering the excessive availability of other hotels in the area, I’m going to say no. The WiFi is also absolute trash. The staff will harass you immediately upon checkout for a five star review, and if you decline to give them one, then they insist that they have a 5 star review already queued; they can send it to you and YOU publish it. Isn’t that considerate? This is probably why they have so many 5 star reviews, so make of that what you will. To the hotel management: Besides lying by omission about the pools, something else stood out to me. This hotel has marketed itself as THE Chongqing viral extravagant hotel experience, and with that comes a certain level of responsibility towards its international clientele. The staff is going to need better command at English; it’s not feasible to expect every guest to have a viable check in experience without it. Also, recalibrate against insisting visitors add staff on WeChat to request things about their room. Clients are just… not going to do that often, and needs will go unfulfilled. It’s the hotel’s job to orient itself to the comfort of its patrons, not vice versa.
