Walling Hotel (Chongqing Hongyadong Jiefangbei)

The hotel location is perfect, room is super spacious, walkable to many must-go places in Chongqing including the famous Hongyadong. Really appreciated and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast daily - which was authentic Chongqing noodles! We love Chongqing (CQ), such a fun city with lots to do and see, our lodging at this hotel has certainly made our 7-day stay here in CQ very pleasant! Would definitely consider staying here again when we come back to CQ the next time!

The location is great, near Jiefangbei street and Hongyadong. The CRT Linjiangmen station is just opposite side of street. The offered breakfast is Chongqing noodle, but you can eat anytime that restaurant open, not only breakfast. All staffs are very helpful, both hotel and restaurant. Even we can speak Chinese, they are try the best to help us.

Excellent location. I had the top room, that was excellent. I guess the hotel caters for Chinese travelers only because basically no one speak English at the front desk and the breakfast is only Chinese food at the adjacent restaurant. This of course makes getting help or information really cumbersome through some translation app, however everyone is really keen to help.

Loved the hotel location and the breakfast! The breakfast was from 7.30am till 8.30pm and it was noodles!!! The rooftop view was just breathtaking and I would definitely recommend it! Will repeat the stay if I come back to Chongjin!

This boutique hotel is so underrated! We love everything about this hotel — location, service, amenities and comfort! Especially the bathroom interior and design, it was very thoughtful and practical. The amenities provided in the room have never failed to give us a relax night after coming back from our adventures, definitely gave us a home feeling. It was still quiet considering the location, very near to Hongyadong and shopping district. The back alley to Hongyadong (turn right on the first junction after coming out of the hotel — cool small eateries and cafes!). Love the small gesture of providing free power bank at lobby. The rooftop view on 15th was amazing too! Just the back view on 6th floor facing the other apartments wasnt that great but it wasnt a big deal. The breakfast selection was limited as you could only pick the few stuff from the noodle restaurant at lobby. The water pressure in the shower room was problematic during the first night but Ms. 7 has fixed it quickly but then had some water temperature issue the next day. All and all i would 10/10 recommend this place and would definitely come back!

its location is just right above HongYaDong. Also just around the building, there is a secret path that leads to the steps to HongYaDong and if you cross the road its is JieFanbei where all the nice shopping area is. Kinda like city hall to bugis street in SG. And along the street, there are store that open till 1.30am for people who wants supper. The staff are very helpful, polite and friendly. Especially staff number 4. They even have farewell packs for us when we check out the building. (Oh the can drinks inside the mini fridge is also free too.) My family enjoy it very much. Their breakfast voucher is actually a meal voucher that you can use from 7.30am to 8.30pm. So you can use it anytime of the day to cover your meal.

We had the most amazing stay at the hotel. The staffs are all super helpful and friendly the location is simply 100% recommended as it is easy access to HongYaDong, JieFangBei, Bayi street. So many hotpot options! We had the 2 bedroom suites so we have really good space - for shopping loot.

Absolute wonderful location! Very near Hongyadong but not too noisy as the hotels nearby. We got upgraded from second floor to 10th floor and the window view was very nice, showing art museum by day and building light by night. The cleanliness was ok, but the cleaners kept giving us wrong shampoo and shower gel. Not a big problem as we could ask at the counter. The staff were very helpful, but there were only two of them, making them always, a bit, busy. The location is absolutely the key!
