Jinxi Hotel Chongqing Jiefangbei Store Reviews

Hotel is nicely located about 20 mins walk to Jiefangbei, 10mins to WeiXinLou (22 storey). It's not in the right smack of touristy Jiefangbei. Cab fare from Jiefangbei, 18 storey, Hongya cave to hotel is ~ RMB10. There is a bus stop right in front. Whole row of good local food places and street hawkers across from morning till late evening. Highly recommend to try the '阿福·版凳面‘ （there's a non-spicy to enjoy the noodle better if you're not good with 'ma-la'.), there's also the street hawker bean curd and porridge and the 阿根罐罐米线。 Nice gym and sitting area at the reception. 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. The front desk lady helped to collect the clothes when the drying had to go past midnight. Front desk staff were ovefall helpful, a few were more helpful than others. WeChat conceirge was perfect, we could ask for help and check things remotely.

I booked the suite room for 7 nights. It’s was clean and had a great night view from the bathtub. It’s about 15 mins walk to Jiefangbei. Lots of good food in the area and many are 24hrs. Didi is v convenient too. Hotel has good service from kele n hehe. It’s overall a good stay.

Overall we had a pleasant stay, hotel is near by taxi to Hong ya dong and Shibati however the nearest metro line will set you back about 10mins

Overall this hotel is good choice to stay. You can walk to Jiafangbei and Hongyadong for 15-25 minutes depending on your speed. There are plenty of shops along the way. The hotel itself is on 29th floor in the shared building that has no English sign or name in front of the building. So it is a bit difficult for me who can’t read Chinese. But not too difficult to manage to get there finally. The staff are mostly friendly especially receptionists and housekeeper on my floor. The room is in modern design. But again I could feel a bit smoking smell in it. Chinese are heavy smokers, especially in the old generation not the young ones as I noticed. The breakfast is served on the 30th floor, where you need to walk up the stairs from reception floor. Breakfast is offered in Chinese style only. No bread and no coffee is served there. But you can come to ask for coffee at the reception. They will give you an instant 3 in 1 coffee pack. One good thing that I like about here is their eco slippers. It’s good that they use a sanitized and recycled one. If guests would like to take it back, need to pay. Most hotels in China uses lots of thin slippers that become trash only one or few times usage. Well, I think this hotel is mostly served young Chinese as I can see the majority of guests here. But it’s one of the good places to stay in Chongqing.

The most amazing stay here. The front desk were very helpful and friendly 😁. Felt home as soon as I walked in there and never felt out of place. They are also very foreigner friendly,so I would suggest you book this hotel as they can communicate in English to you. The rooms are very clean,hotel smells very good and everything else is intact. Location is amazing as well,especially if you want to site see around the Jiangfengbei area. The yellow cabs are always in the vicinity and you can easily get one to travel wherever. I'm definitely booking this hotel again when I visit Chongqing again 👌🏼

We had a very nice 2 night-stay in this hotel. Location is very good, many sights are in walking distance. Room was comfy and amazing, loved the view from the bath tub. AC was a bit strong though. Even on low level. Staff were nice and helpful. Their hospitality is very appreciated. Public area was very modern and convenient. Hotel served a decent Chinese breakfast.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly - really going the extra mile to ensure our comfort and wellbeing. Rooms were clean, comfortable and warm (Chongqing was particularly cold). A really great location.
