Was staying at the hotel in May this year but this time round the original 2 rooms that was assigned I am very disappointed that the Aircon was not working well. First time, they said that due to winter and it's all central system controlled so it's like this. They tried to solve the issue by bringing a cooler.. tried and it's totally no use at all. I compared the 2 rooms and my parents room was much warmer than mine so I had no choice but to go down and inform them about it. They did an excellent recovery by changing another room for my parents and they offered a suite for them. The room this time round is very cooling.. much cooler than mine but it's ok mine is still alright. I hope they will look into proper maintenance of the hotel.

Kempenski Chongqing hotel location not in CBD, the hotel look like quite some time(old), is a conventional hotel. Hotel breakfast variety choice and acceptable.

Bed is so old, we cannot sleep well

After staying in Wanda, service felt spotty. No one in attendance at the main door when we arrived. Had to drag our luggage to the registration. No USB port in the room to charge cell phone. When I inquired about an adapter, was told they don’t provide and have to use commercial charger and that there is a charge. Finally got an adapter from the front desk, apparently, a poorly trained service attendant.
Won’t stay in a Kempinski again.

Solid stay, booked two rooms. The bed was very very comfortable, great pool - even has an ice bath. Spa is new but pretty good. I will definitely at least come back for another night next time im in Chongqing.
There were a lot of amenities.
