Tianqing River View Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei hongyadong) Reviews

This was one of my favorite hotels to stay in. First off, the location was perfect. The building is just beside an MRT station, making transport super accessible. It is also beside the Yangtze River cable car, so it is very easy to hail a taxi too. The reception was very friendly and professional, giving me a yogurt drink with a cute heartfelt note on checking in. They were also very helpful in answering questions and booking a night cruise. The room itself was spacious and classy, romantic yet homely. My favorite was the deep bathtub with a view of the Raffles City building and the rivers in the peripheral. Soaking myself after a hot day’s walking in Chongqing was a necessary luxury. Another favorite was the Bluetooth sound system, which played my music centrally and at a high quality. The bed was also super comfortable, allowing me very sound and restful sleep on my stay. Oh and the shower was also very good. The shower stall takes very little space but utilizes it very efficiently, with the overhead rainfall shower having the perfect water pressure. There is also some food places on the 2nd floor, specifically a hotpot restaurant that opened late. It was a delicious food spot. The only annoying thing in my opinion was that there were only 2 elevators servicing the hotel and sometimes you had to wait for a while.

Very convenient location, walking distance to famous attractions such as JieFangBei, HongYaDon, ShiBaTi, Raffles City. Excellent Customer Service from receptionist Ms Shen. Room is clean and the view is super nice. Recommend to all friends who keen to have nice river view and Chongqing skyline.

Very convenient location (right next to the 小什字 Xiaoshizi subway station), and my room had a really lovely view of the city. The service staff were all very kind and helpful.

Overall experience is good: Friendly and helpful attendant Location is quite close to 81road and HongYaDong The only downside is the building is quite old and heavy traffic due to attractions around. There is free souvenir from the hotel upon checkout too.

It was a nice stay with the good view of the hotel. The lady on the reception help me with the laundry. They also give me free yugart & location wise walkable the tourist spot. Very near to train station, restaurant cable car. The only downside is no restaurant but downstairs there’s numerous of restaurant. Overall it was a good stay. 🫶

Front desk is good service, friendly even add a contact to recommend us nearest restaurant (after taste all is good and reasonable price) and we book good river view of Chongqing. Very suit for guest 1st time visit chongqing. Photo is night view for our room

Location and view were incredible. The staff were friendly and attentive. Their communication was nice and efficient. I loved that they had a list of restaurants recommended throughout the city for different tastes/occasions. If I were coming back to Chongqing, I don’t know where else I would stay!

Excellent hotel at a very good location. The staff was very friendly. There is a subway station right next to the hotel and a lot of food shops.

this hotel occupies one level in the lianhe international building. the nearest metro is only a minute's walk away. very convenient. the hotel is also located near many attractions such as the Jiefangbei, Yangtze cableway, and even raffles city. the staff were very nice and helpful. the view from the lobby is great. room amenities were just what we needed. and they provide good quality room slippers too.

Great value hotel with good location right next to the metro and walkable to most tourists attractions. View was amazing as well. Best of all was the service, hotel staff were incredibly helpful accommodating early check in and room upgrades as well as help in finding food and places to go in chongqing. highly recommend!

Good location. Near metro. But need to climb staircase from metro to hotel. Free yoghurt drink as welcoming. Nice river view from lobby.

Excellent location

I booked this hotel for 3 nights / The hotel staff very helpful and gave us a spectacular view. We really enjoyed staying there. 😀
